Trust.
Trust in your wings.
Trust in yourself to fly.
Sometimes in life,
Making changes can be extremely daunting.
To the extent that we feel paralyzed or just crippled by fear.
How will this work out?
How will that work out?
What am I going to do?
How will I deal with this or that?
It almost seems crazy to trust ourselves in the light of all these possible obstacles.
But if we don't trust ourselves,
Who do we trust?
What do we trust in?
That our mind will assess everything in the exact way that things are?
I don't know about you,
But my mind has often tricked me.
Has often made me fearful of things that were actually amazing.
Has told me that things are amazing that I actually didn't enjoy very much.
That did not bring me lasting happiness.
So why do we listen to our mind when it comes to making decisions,
Taking that leap of faith?
Of course,
Our mind and body are programmed to keep us safe.
So we can look to these thoughts and these fears with compassion.
With the utmost compassion and gratitude.
They are there to keep us safe.
But I ask you one question.
Would you rather be the caged lion in the zoo,
Living a safe life that has food guaranteed,
That is very unlikely to be attacked by other animals?
Or would you want to be,
Would you choose to be the free lion out in the wilderness?
No guarantee where the next meal will come from.
No guarantees of safety.
But there is one thing the lion has that the caged lion does not have.
Freedom.
Freedom and that pure joy that comes with freedom.
The opportunities for abundance,
Happiness,
Bliss,
Peace.
Stepping out of the mundane.
Although things aren't always easy,
Being okay with that.
Being okay with the uncertainty.
Maybe even at times embracing the uncertainty.
Because it brings opportunity.
Looking at it with curiosity.
What will this day bring if I approach life on a day by day basis instead of worrying too much about the future?
Being present in the moment,
Living and experiencing life fully as life is meant to be lived and experienced fully.
That is of course if you want to be free,
If you want to be abundant,
Peaceful and blissful.
And of course you don't need to choose between being the caged lion or the free lion.
It's just a metaphor.
Although of course we create a cage in our mind with our thoughts at times.
And if we can release,
Become more accepting and more present,
More courageous,
We will feel more free.
So what's holding you back?
What is the one thing you know you should do?
What is the one thing you know you can start with?
Could be taking some action or it could be reframing something in your mind so you're no longer held back by fear,
Fear of the unknown,
Fear of what others will think of you,
Whatever it may be.
How can you change that?
There's always a way and I fully trust in you.
The question is,
Do you trust in yourself?
And deep down,
Of course you do.
Deep down,
Of course you do.
Deep down,
Of course you do.
So it's just about returning to that deep trust,
To that deep knowing.
Because the bird knows when it jumps off the branch that its wings will carry it.
So shall your wings carry you too,
Exploring what life has in store for you.
It's time to live and experience fully.
You got this.
Have a beautiful rest of your day.
Much love.
Thank you.
