Good morning and welcome to this morning refresher meditation.
Take a moment to just bring gratitude for the place you were able to sleep in.
Take a moment to bring gratitude to the food you will consume today,
To the water that will hydrate you.
Take a moment to bring gratitude for the resources that you have and most importantly for the goodness and love in your heart.
You could be lying down for this meditation with your palms facing up.
Or you could be sitting upright with your palms in your lap facing upwards as well.
For the next breath you will take,
I want you to take this breath as if it was the first breath you've ever taken on this earth and really follow that breath.
How did that feel?
And I want you to do that again for every breath that follows.
As if it was the first time breathing,
Really taking in this refreshment,
This goodness and feel it flood and nourish your body.
Feel your senses awaken as they get ready to do their job.
As they get ready to make your experience more magical.
And again as if this was your first breath,
Following the breath from start to finish.
Any and all sensations.
Feeling how the breath awakens your being.
A being that is here to spread light and be love.
To be compassionate and to also just enjoy life,
Enjoy every moment and be present in the here and now.
Our breath reminds us how much of a gift life is.
And how it's okay for us to take.
And how it's great for us to give.
Just scanning your body now for any tensions and breathing into those to release.
To make sure that your vehicle,
Your body is in balance as well.
Now I'd like to ask you to set an intention for today.
And breathe in again as if this was your first breath.
Now let's bring some gratitude again to our life,
To the things in our life that maybe we take for granted a little too often.
Thank you.
Thank you for this day.
Thank you for this moment.
Thank you body for everything that you do.
Thank you mother earth.
I'm so grateful to be alive today.
And I will shine as bright as I possibly can.
One more breath.
And release.
