Hello there,
It's Mayra Hutchison.
This is a short guided meditation.
It's a meditation I've created.
I'm calling it Healing the Heart.
So in this meditation we're going to focus on the love in our hearts and we're going to use it to heal any physical or emotional pain that we might be feeling or experiencing.
By practicing this meditation it will allow you to bring more love into your life,
An experience more joyful,
More fun,
More engagement,
More grace and ease in your life.
Healing happens a wee bit like peeling the layers of an onion.
When we release one layer there are often other layers underneath that.
These other layers can be triggered to release at the right time,
At our right time.
And so it's really important when doing this kind of meditation to just focus on one layer at a time.
What makes you comfortable.
So making sure that you're always checking in for your own comfort level.
And so let's begin.
You can be seated or lying down,
Lying on the floor,
On the couch or on the bed or sitting in your usual meditative position.
To start now by taking a slow deep breath in and breathing out gently.
I'm going to do a few rounds of those together.
So breathing in all the way and breathing out gently.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Once more breathing in and breathing out.
Just let your breathing continue deep and rhythmic at your right pace.
And as you do so bring your awareness to your heart area and as you continue breathing in and out.
Encourage you to visualize your heart,
Your heart area gradually opening.
Opening like the petals of a flower.
You may feel or sense,
Visualize or just hold the concept of your heart energy opening like the petals of a flower.
Feel your heart filling with light and love as strongly as you can.
Feeling almost like you're breathing in and out of your heart as you allow the love to heal your heart now of any past hurts.
If you have any pain or discomfort in your body,
I encourage you to visualize this love traveling to the area to heal it,
Relax it,
Let go of what's not for you at this time.
And visualize this part of your body relaxing and healing.
Visualize this love expanding out from your heart and permeating every cell of your being.
Just allowing a feeling of love and peace to wash over you.
As you do this you might feel some emotions coming up,
Some emotions rising to the surface and this is completely natural.
But I encourage you to be an observer,
Don't get caught in the story of the emotions that may be coming up.
Just allow them to come to the surface and let go,
Release.
Remember to breathe and allow the emotions to subside.
Your body is filling with light and love.
Healing all aspects of your entire being.
Just allow yourself to be and to enjoy this healing process.
I'm going to share some affirmations that may help you with this healing process.
So in your mind repeat these affirmations.
My body,
Mind and spirit are healing now.
Any past pain or upsets are being released now.
My health is returning to optimal health.
It is now time to let go of the past and to embrace the present and all that's here.
The power of love is healing me now on all levels of my being.
I am grateful for my healing.
So in a moment we're going to leave this meditation.
I want you to visualize light all around you,
Sealing you in this healed feeling.
Sealing it all in for you.
And returning those petals at your heart area back to their normal state.
When you're ready bring your awareness back to your breathing.
You might want to wiggle your fingers and toes a little bit.
Bringing your awareness all the way back.
Bringing back that sense of love,
That sense of health and well-being.
Bring it back with you as you come all the way back.
