
Morning Meditation For A Peaceful Day Ahead
This morning meditation is intended to help you to access and cultivate a sense of inner peace that you may carry with you throughout your day ahead. Whether you have woken up feeling calm and at ease or anxious and unsettled, this meditation will draw you deeper into the stillness and serenity of your core being.

Good morning my dear.
Welcome to this morning meditation.
My name is Moina Hutchison.
The intent of this meditation is to help you harness a sense of inner peace that you can carry with you throughout your whole day.
So whether you're woken up feeling calm and peaceful or a wee bit anxious and unsettled,
This meditation will draw you deeper into the stillness,
The calmness and the serenity of your core being.
So for this meditation,
Choose a position that's most comfortable to you.
A seated position will harness an increase in energy for the day,
But if this doesn't feel right to you at this moment,
Allow yourself to stay in a straight lying position resting on your back.
Take a moment to check into which posture will best serve you for this meditation and make any adjustments you need to.
Once you're settled,
I invite you to start by just taking a few moments of full deep breaths,
Bringing your awareness to the rhythm of your breath.
Observe the natural rhythm and flow of your breath.
Feeling into and making note of how this life force nourishes and sustains you,
I invite you to take a few moments to take a few moments to take a few moments to take a moment to take a somehow closer view of your breath.
Once so Consciously go into a deep breath breathe.
Though you may consciously guide your breath in a particular way,
It doesn't require any effort to perform its task.
It is a well of wisdom of its own accord.
Take a few moments now just to pay closer attention to your breath,
Perhaps even giving thanks for its present.
Although we don't often give it as much attention,
The breath is a steady anchor that's always available to help us settle into the space we're in.
And before moving forward with our daily activities,
Grounding ourselves in this space and time helps us to release and let go any feelings of anxiety,
Restlessness,
Or any fears that may be lingering in the body or the mind.
Just take a few moments now to simply observe the space you're in and the breath as it nourishes every cell,
Every fibre of your body.
Inhale allowing the stomach to expand completely.
And exhale allowing the abdomen to soften and all the muscles of the body to be released.
If you've woke up this morning with any feelings of heaviness,
Of worry,
Or of uneasiness or unrest about what this day will bring,
Just see if you can softly detach mentally from this sensation by acknowledging and noting its presence in your body.
Detaching does not require us to suppress or deny,
Rather it's a way of shifting our relationship to whatever we're experiencing.
So beginning at your toes,
Gently scanning your way through each and every muscle group,
Just checking in and seeing is there any tightness,
Any heaviness,
Any sensation,
Any tingling that might be present there and perhaps associated with your mental or emotional state.
If you feel calm and at peace already,
Just continue to witness this harmonious state that you're in,
Focusing on the steady rhythm of your breath.
As you enjoy these moments of calmness,
Serenity and stillness prior to the day's activities,
Gently and slowly making your way up,
Up your body,
Towards your head.
Just tune into the muscles around your eyes,
Eyebrows,
Forehead,
Seeing if you can soften this area even further.
As you do this,
Notice if the breath or the rest of your body changes in any way.
Notice too,
Is there a shift in the state of your mind.
And hold your entire body and your conscious awareness now,
Breathing into each and every cell of your body as you just rest here with nothing to do,
Nothing to do yet and nothing to accomplish.
Sink into the pure bliss of simply being here.
The beauty of morning meditation is that it sets the stage for the rest of our day,
Gifting us the opportunity to harness the energy that we wish to experience as we move into the world.
So I invite you to take a few moments for yourself to tune into the heart space as we explore our deepest yearnings,
Drawing your attention into your chest.
Witness that heart area opening and softening with each full breath.
On each inhalation the chest expands and on each exhalation it softens,
Freeing up any stuck or stagnant,
Fearful or tent energy that might be lingering there.
Allow you to breathe through your heart space,
Seeing if you can connect with what this space represents to you.
The heart is the centre of our being,
The meeting space of earthly and spiritual energies and as such it represents balance,
Harmony,
Wholeness and a sense of connectedness.
When we operate in the world from the heart of who we really are,
We feel a great sense of alignment with everything around us.
As each and every new day opens us up to the unknown,
Moving from the heart space helps us to embody a greater sense of inner peace.
Trusting the heart and allowing it to be our guide helps us cruise through whatever waves come our way with grace and ease.
So tune into your breath now as it moves through your heart centre,
Seeing if you can sense the peaceful rhythm of its continual comings and goings.
Peace is not only within stillness,
It's a quality we can find beneath the surface of moving energies too.
With that idea in your heart and mind,
See if you can find a sense of inner peace along this subtle movement of air into and out of your lungs.
Whether you feel sure or unsure of what this day will bring,
There is always an element of uncertainty in life.
We can be aware to some degree of what might happen,
But we always come against situations,
Challenges,
Opportunities that we could not have predicted.
As we surrender our need to control or to know exactly what will happen,
We find a greater ability to flow with life as it unfolds and an inner confidence begins to show itself.
So take a few deep breaths now into the base of your spine,
Witnessing the expansion and contraction of your belly with each full breath.
As you gently guide your breath into your belly,
Any remnants of stress within your body or your mind drifts away.
This belly breathing activates your body's relaxation process or the rest and digest system.
When the body is at rest,
We are then in a better position to take on whatever the day brings to us.
Just take a few moments of silence now just to sink even further,
Even deeper into this nurturing,
Nourishing,
Deepened breath.
If or when the mind wanders,
With kindness and compassion,
Witness this as you come back to the breath to ground you comfortably into this present moment.
You may even sense a lightness washing over you or an expanded presence that wasn't there with you when you woke up.
Turn into this expansion,
Allowing the chest and your belly to grow even larger on the intillation.
You might even want to release a sigh on your next exhalation.
From this place of lightness and presence,
Tune back into your heart,
Your heart area as you check in with what your most authentic self yearns to embody today.
For you it might be a continued sense of inner peace,
It might be confidence,
It might be compassion,
Or it might be radiance.
Whatever it is,
Ensure that it's aligned with the peaceful presence you are moving into right now.
And then take a few moments to silently whisper your intention to yourself,
Framing it in the present tense rather than the future tense.
Convince that you already embody this virtue or this essence that you yearn for.
Now just take three more deep,
Deep breaths,
Slow and steady.
As you enjoy these last few moments of mindful meditation before stepping peacefully into your heart.
Gently draw your hands to your heart,
Placing them one on top of the other over the centre of your chest.
And in your mind silently repeat the words,
Peace begins within.
Peace begins within.
And then when you're ready,
Gently blinking your eyes open,
Softly and gently bring some movement into your body.
And as you move into your day,
Remember this peaceful place that you have cultivated within you.
At any moment throughout your day you can return to this space through mindful awareness of your breath and through the stillness that lives within you.

Oh my god this is the best one ever feel like it been put in a giant bubble of everything that I was feeling and when I walk it’s just stays around feel like nothing could come up against me but yet I can see everything around me so now I can prepare for the day and I thank you so very much . And at the very end my little Shih Tzu jumped up in my lap and it was the best feeling because this little dog is my heart
