Namaste,
I'm Sahara Rose and welcome to this menstruation meditation.
This is a wonderful meditation practice for you to experience when you are on your moon cycle or if you just want to connect with your womb.
It is a very simple relaxing and grounding meditation that will reconnect you with your divine feminine energy and allow your healing inner goddess to come through.
So I invite you to take a comfortable seat.
I recommend doing this meditation and most meditations sitting upright so your crown chakra can receive the energy from the cosmos and your seat is firmly rooted towards the earth.
And once you've taken that comfortable seat,
Perhaps with pillows around you or whatever makes you feel at your highest point of comfort,
I invite you to close your eyes and tune into your breath.
Allow your inhales and exhales to become slower,
Softer,
Deeper.
Allow your shoulders to relax.
Allow yourself to melt into the seat,
The floor,
Completely grounding your energy.
And just noticing any sensations in your body,
Any feelings,
Any thoughts,
Any sounds around you.
Just observing them and then coming back to your breath.
Feel your seat firmly planted into the floor beneath you,
The chair beneath you,
The earth beneath you.
Feeling your seat growing deep roots,
Firmly grounding your energy into the earth.
Feeling the stability,
The anchoring,
The grounding and imagining these roots drinking up the life force from the earth and bringing it through your body.
Allowing your breaths to get slower,
Deeper,
Your belly rising and falling with each breath.
Let it go.
I invite you to place your hands on your lower belly,
Your pointer fingers and thumbs touching,
Creating a triangle facing towards the earth.
And just tuning into your womb's energy,
Feeling your belly rise and fall,
Tuning into what is happening in your womb at this time.
Observing that your womb is shedding.
She is letting go of what no longer serves her.
She is not in her highest alignment at this time.
She is renewing,
Creating space for what is to come.
Feeling this cleansing process of your womb and giving gratitude for her monthly cycles.
I want you now to tune into what you are letting go of this month.
That energy,
Sentiment,
Vibration that you may have experienced this past menstrual cycle that you are ready to let go of and shed with your uterine lining this month.
Perhaps you are letting go of comparison or sadness or stress,
Anxiety,
Overwork.
Feeling your womb let go of this energy.
Cleansing it from your system.
Creating space for what serves you.
I invite you now to call in what you'd like to have more of this coming menstrual cycle in the next 30 days.
What energy,
Sentiment or vibration are you calling in?
More love,
Ease,
Flow.
And giving gratitude to your womb for supporting you,
For working alongside you,
Taking you through your yin and your yang stages so you can fulfill your soul's purpose.
Giving her thanks and honoring and placing your hands on your heart.
Bowing down in reverence for yourself.
For giving yourself time for this sacred practice.
