Namaste.
I'm Sahara Rose and welcome to this Kuan Yin meditation.
Kuan Yin is one of my favorite goddesses because she truly embodies self,
Love,
And compassion.
In this world that we are constantly comparing ourselves to others,
To ourselves,
Always reaching for the next best thing,
It can be really hard to be in the present moment.
And when we're constantly striving for the future,
We're never really happy with where we are.
Kuan Yin is here to remind us that we are perfect exactly as we are in this moment.
That we don't have to become someone or do something or change something to be worthy.
She's here with a reminder to teach us self,
Love.
So I have been practicing this meditation every single day to embody more of Kuan Yin's energy in my life because I realized it was an energy I was really needing more of.
And I hope this meditation helps you embody her energy as well.
So when you are ready,
I invite you to take a comfortable seat and close your beautiful eyes.
Take a deep inhale in and sigh it out.
Deep inhale in and sigh it out.
Deep inhale in and sigh it out.
I want you to imagine each inhale in like a waterfall,
Cleansing your thoughts,
Your aura,
Your stress,
Your anxieties.
And each exhale this water moving down your body,
Releasing to the ground beneath you.
With each inhale,
The water falls all through you,
Cleansing you from anything that is no longer serving you at this moment.
And with each exhale,
It is being released.
Allow yourself to sit in this waterfall for just a few moments as your body softens,
Cleanses,
Purifies.
Feeling yourself let go,
Let go of such a tight grip.
Let go of the agenda,
The what's next.
Allow yourself the gift of these few moments to be in the present.
There's nowhere else you have to be right now.
And allow the waterfall to wash away all that is no longer serving you.
Now that you are purified,
I want you to picture someone in your mind's eye that you may have been having some obstacles with.
Maybe it's a parent,
A friend,
A spouse,
Someone that has been creating some tension in your life recently.
The first person that came to mind is probably the person for you.
As you imagine them in your mind's eye,
I want you to repeat after me.
This is called the Ho'oponono'ono,
A forgiveness chant in Hawaiian.
Please forgive me.
I forgive you.
I thank you.
I love you.
And you can repeat this several more times.
And the thing that was the hardest to say is probably the affirmation you must repeat.
Because when you don't forgive others,
The real person you're harming is yourself.
To forgive is to heal.
And when you feel ready,
Picture the person before you now saying to you,
Please forgive me.
I forgive you.
I thank you.
I love you.
How did that land?
Releasing any energy,
Any tension to forgive is to heal.
To forgive is to heal.
And you can continue with the Ho'oponono.
But I want you right now to move the energy towards someone or maybe a pet that brings you great joy.
Someone that when you just look at their face,
You just want to smile and squeeze them and love them.
For me,
It's my pet dog.
And now feel the energy moving through your body as you think of this person or animal.
Just the love,
The connection,
The opening.
And let this energy move through your body.
Now I want you to imagine your childhood self sitting before you.
This could be at any age,
Whatever age you feel like you needed the most love.
And once you've gotten a good picture of yourself before you,
I want you to hold onto that love that you just felt and feel it towards your childhood self.
Just holding onto that frequency of complete love,
Complete acceptance,
Complete connection.
And giving your childhood self a big hug and whispering into their ear the words that they needed to hear the most.
I love you.
You're enough.
You're magical.
You're special.
You're important.
You're worthy.
And feeling that love.
Now I want you to imagine yourself,
Your reflection in the mirror right before you.
You as you are in this present moment.
Bring back that same feeling of love and compassion that you felt for your childhood self,
For your animal,
For your child.
And feel that love towards yourself right now.
Look in your eyes in the mirror and repeat after me.
Please forgive me.
I forgive you.
I thank you.
I love you.
And now imagine your reflection yourself repeating back to you.
Please forgive me.
I forgive you.
I thank you.
I love you.
Feeling your heart,
Feeling any tears,
Feeling any lingering energy that is no longer serving you being released in pure love and compassion and forgiveness and unity.
Feeling the awe that you feel at this moment.
How easy it is to feel good.
How the secret to happiness is to loving ourselves exactly as we are.
And when you feel ready,
I invite you to gently wiggle your toes,
Your fingers,
And I'm going to count us down from five to one.
And when I reach one,
You're going to feel more elevated,
More inspired,
More uplifted than ever before.
Five,
Awakening your body.
Four,
Feeling joy.
Three,
Feeling loving compassion.
Two,
Feeling ready to serve your soul's mission.
One,
Opening your eyes.
You are elevated.
You are inspired.
You are connected.
You are in a state of gratitude.
Knowing that the answers you are seeking are already inside of you.
There's nowhere to go but within.
And the secret to ultimate joy and happiness is to love and accept yourself just as you are.
Because that is how we serve the needs of the planet.
It was an honor to practice with you.
Namaste.
