In the first session, we learned what healing is, what healing circles are, how they work, and what they can do for us. We also did a journal prompt to reflect on our personal experience of healing circles.
In this session, we will explore why we need healing circles more than ever and how they can transform our relationships and society. We will also learn some best practices and tips for finding or creating a healing circle that suits our needs and preferences.

In the previous sessions, we learned what healing is, what healing circles are, how they work, what they can do for us, why we need them more than ever, and how they can transform our relationships and society. We also learned some best practices and tips for finding or creating a healing circle that suits our needs and preferences.
In this session, we will learn how to host and guardian healing circles in different settings. We will also learn the roles and responsibilities of a circle host and guardian and the basic format of a healing circle. We will also learn how to adapt the format and content of a healing circle to different settings and contexts, such as online, at work, at home, or in a community. We will also learn how to prepare the space, set the tone, facilitate the conversation, manage time, deal with challenges or conflicts, and close the circle effectively. We will also learn how to use various tools and resources to support our hosting and guarding practice.
By the end of this session, you will be able to:
Understand the roles and responsibilities of a circle host and guardian and the basic format of a healing circle.

Hello friend and Welcome to the last session of our course on learning to host healing circles. In this session, we will explore how healing circles can help us develop universal soft skills that can benefit us in any situation or relationship.
What are universal soft skills? Universal soft skills are interpersonal skills that can be applied in any situation or relationship, such as communication, listening, empathy, authenticity, etc. These skills can help us connect with ourselves and others, express ourselves clearly and respectfully, understand and appreciate different perspectives and experiences, and build trust and rapport.
Why are universal soft skills important? Universal soft skills are important because they can enhance our personal and professional lives. They can help us improve our self-awareness and self-confidence, our relationships and collaborations, our problem-solving and decision-making, our creativity and innovation, and our well-being and happiness.
How can healing circles help us develop universal soft skills? This is what we are going to learn today.

Next Steps And Dealing With Fatigue After A Circle
Hello friend and Welcome to the final session of our course on learning to host healing circles. In this session, we will review what we have learned in this course and what we can do next to start hosting our own healing circles.

The definition and purpose of healing circles as a form of group process that supports healing, connection, and transformation
The principles and practices of healing circles that create a safe, respectful, and supportive space for everyone
The roles and responsibilities of hosts and guardians who facilitate and protect the healing circle process
The skills and tasks that are essential for hosting a healing circle, such as opening, framing, inviting, guiding, closing, etc.
The tools and resources that can support our hosting and guarding practice, such as books, websites, training, coaching, etc.
The universal soft skills that can be developed through healing circles, such as communication, listening, empathy, authenticity, etc.
The exercises or activities that can enhance our universal soft skills in a healing circle setting, such as deep listening, being okay with silence or unknowns, asking open-ended questions, sharing from the heart, etc.

Welcome to this guided reflection for practicing empathy and self-empathy in a healing context. In this reflection, you will imagine yourself listening to someone who is sharing their story of trauma and suffering. You will practice feeling and understanding their emotions, and also being aware and compassionate with your own emotions.
