You can rest down into your seat and grow through your spine as you allow your eyes to close.
And we use the sound of the bell to transition from a mode of going and doing,
Thinking and planning,
Back into a mode of being with,
Opening in curious observation and non-judgmental awareness.
You can place all of your attention on the breath as you allow it to naturally and gently lengthen and deepen,
Not forcing any changes,
Just being with the ones that happen naturally,
Accompanying focused attention.
You can give yourself permission not to have a busy body or a busy mind as you arrive fully and completely in the present moment,
Allowing this moment to be enough.
You can let go of the need to do anything else or be anywhere else as you allow the stillness of just being to be enough.
And in this stillness,
We can allow the body to become the most important thing.
You can follow your breath back into the body and reconnect with how it's doing in this moment.
You may scan through each part of the body,
Recognizing what each part is feeling with compassion and non-judgment.
Recognize that each part is an integral part of the whole,
Keeping you alive and well and balanced and feel gratitude for the body and all that it does for you in each and every moment even when you are not aware.
And as you are reconnecting with the body,
Notice the places of pain,
The places of illness,
Or maybe just the ones you've been really hard on lately,
Critiquing or judging.
You may want to place a hand over this part of the body,
Allowing loving energy to move through the hand and into this body part.
And as you are reconnecting with this part of the body,
Ask it,
What is it needing?
What is it telling you that needs to be changed or nurtured?
Come back to your intentions to offer the body what it needs to support it and help it to heal.
You may want to reconnect with the heart space,
The center of your being that's nothing but love,
Peace,
Compassion,
Acceptance,
And gratitude.
You may recognize that this heart space and the energies within it are bigger than even you,
That they carry the energies of the world,
Of that which is greater,
And that all of these energies hold a healing force that can help you to heal and the body to heal.
And so use these energies to reconnect with the body,
To be with it in love.
And with the strength of the heart space,
You can allow this part of the body to re-enter your whole being.
And now it can be connected back into the whole,
Using the healing powers of the entire body to heal it.
And we notice the body's ability to heal.
We know that the body is always wanting to be healthy and whole and balanced.
We know that sometimes we get in our own way with our habits,
How we treat ourselves,
The activities we engage in,
But that the body is still there,
Still wanting to heal,
Still trying to cleanse us,
Still trying to rejuvenate.
And so we trust the body and its ability to heal us.
And we know that when we reintegrate this part of the body that we've been holding as separate or wanting to push away,
And we bring it back into the whole,
That we are reuniting it with these healing powers within us,
With the healing powers of the body.
And with it reconnected with the body,
You can visualize the healing happening.
Whatever that means for you,
Whether it's the regrowth of cells,
The strengthening of bones,
The cleansing of toxins,
Picture it happening in your body and replay that image over and over,
The image of your own body healing itself,
Bringing itself back together,
Coming back to the whole.
Imagine the cleansing happening,
The detoxing,
The reconstruction,
The rewiring.
Believe that the body can heal and spend as much time as you can allow visualizing this healing and reconnecting with the heart and sending those healing energies of the heart throughout the entire body and centering them on this hurt place,
On this ailing place.
And feel those energies of warmth and love filling the entire body,
Bringing that hurt place back into the whole and reconnecting it with who you are,
With your true nature,
Which is centered,
Balanced,
Healthy,
And grounded.
And believe that this is your true nature.
Believe that the body can heal and love the body,
Love the body in all that it is.
And bring this image of a healed whole body with you as I ring the bell three times and we come back to our shared space.
