Hello and welcome to this guided meditation session.
In this session today,
We are going to be connecting with ourselves.
We often become detached from our true nature.
This is because of the fast paced lives we live.
So in this moment here and now,
I want you to close your eyes and listen for you.
Let go of the matters of the mind and just hear what's around you in this moment.
Feel what is around you in this moment.
Breathe in what is around you in this moment.
This moment is where the real you lives.
The mind takes us to the future and the past.
That's often where anxiety lives as well.
It's important to take this time for you,
To really feel like you again.
The only you that exists is the you that is in the now.
Feel you.
Believe yourself this time.
It is okay.
You have done so well.
You should be so proud of yourself.
Keep breathing in a relaxed way.
Keep feeling every aspect of yourself,
Every sensation.
Notice yourself in this moment.
It may even bring up some raw emotions and that's okay.
Let yourself feel.
If your mind wanders,
That's okay.
Just bring yourself back to the moment by feeling sensations again.
What you hear,
What you feel.
Notice your breathing.
Notice what's happening to you now.
Your worldly struggles are lifting.
All the tenseness,
All the anxiety,
All the stresses,
You are letting them go in this moment and feeling what really exists.
Anxiety,
Stress,
They're not real.
They're just feelings that the mind grabs onto in order to protect itself.
You can let them go because that's not who you are.
You are strong.
You are powerful.
By being present,
You become aware of that.
You realize the true nature of human existence is love,
Peace,
And serenity.
All those horrible feelings are a part of existence but not who you are.
You notice this when you calm down,
When you let go of the attachments of everyday.
We often don't realize what we're holding onto,
What we've grabbed hold of.
So let that go and become raw in this present moment again.
Realize who you are.
Feel your power.
I am so proud of you for giving yourself this time.
Keep giving yourself this time.
You deserve it.
You don't have to hold the whole weight of the world on your shoulders,
It's okay to take you time.
Feel,
Breathe,
You are safe and secure.
You are the true version of you.
I want you to say thank you,
Either out loud or in a voice.
This is a thank you to yourself for giving yourself this time,
For being gentle with yourself.
Continue this practice as many times as you want.
It's a good reminder to take that time to breathe,
To feel the present moment,
To ground yourself and remind yourself of who you are.
We all need to do this.
We're just taught to keep going and going and going.
It's great that you're working towards something that's commendable.
Part of that process is looking after yourself as well.
So smile,
Look at yourself in the mirror and say to yourself,
Oh yeah,
It's okay to be gentle,
I don't need to be self-abusive,
I don't need to overwork and stress myself out.
Part of life is feeling and experiencing.
