Hi mama and welcome along to your meditation practice for today.
When you feel ready,
Find yourself a comfortable seat and begin to close down your eyes.
Take a few moments to ensure that your body is truly comfortable.
Relax your shoulders,
Soften your jaw,
Let go of any clenching.
Soften the space in between your eyebrows and allow your physical body to move into a relaxed state.
Now bring a gentle attention to your breath.
Take a slow and deep breath in,
Feeling your belly expand and a deep and relaxing breath out.
Again breathe down into your belly,
Into your baby and a deep breath out.
One more time,
Fill up into the belly all the way up and all the way out.
As you feel yourself starting to settle down and relax here.
Take one or even both of your hands and place them over your heart.
If you can't feel your heartbeat in this way you could always take a hand or two fingers to your pulse.
As you attune yourself to the beat of your heart,
You're tapping into and listening to the soundtrack that your baby hears all day every day.
The simple beating of your heart provides the rhythm and soundtrack to their life in the womb.
Could you relax your heartbeat?
With each exhale feeling yourself moving deeper and deeper into a relaxed state.
And becoming acutely aware of the pulsation of your own heartbeat.
Feel its rhythm,
Like a soft drum inside of you.
Listen to the sound of your heartbeat and know that your baby is also listening.
This sound is their greatest comforter.
Now slowly take both hands and place them over your belly.
Just very lightly.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Feel the warmth of your hands on your belly.
Imagine that that warmth is a calming,
Glowing,
Golden white light.
Effortlessly observe as it glows from your hands and onto your belly.
You can see this golden white light radiating from your hands onto your belly and entering your body.
Watch how tenderly it embraces your little one.
Your love.
Your light.
Gently holding your little miracle inside of you.
Take a deep breath in,
Expanding your belly and watching as the golden white light shines brighter creating a glow inside of you.
And as you exhale,
Feel yourself becoming more calm and relaxed.
Feel the warm glow of your hands connecting in with your baby.
Our hands are an extension of the heart.
So through this loving,
Soft touch,
You are sending love and light to your baby.
You may even feel movement or even a little energetic message from your baby.
Sit for a moment in this connection.
Allow the process to spontaneously unfold.
Gently take a deep breath into your belly and a deep breath out of your mouth.
Allow your hands that have been embracing your little one to relax back into your lap.
Being calm,
Centered and connected.
Feel yourself ground down into the earth beneath you.
Connecting into Mother Earth.
Feel the love that radiates through your entire being.
That wraps you and your little one in this glowing golden white light.
And a moment in this space.
Two heartbeats beating together as one.
Take a final deep breath in here and a big relaxing breath out.
Beginning to bring sensation back into your physical body.
Feeling down into your toes.
Perhaps even gently wiggling your fingers,
Coming completely back into the body.
Take as much time as you need.
And when you feel ready,
You can slowly and gently begin to blink your eyes open and allow the outside light back in.
