This meditation is designed for you to do whilst breastfeeding your baby to foster connection, relaxation, and bonding. The energy you give to your baby whilst feeding goes far beyond just the milk itself. This meditation will explore the energetic exchange that happens whilst feeding using guided visualizations.

Hello beautiful mama and welcome along to your breast feeding meditation.

This meditation is designed to be done whilst you are feeding your bub so if you're not already doing so go ahead and grab your baby and find a comfortable position to feed in.

Now you can do this in any position that you find comfortable and of course if at any point you need to move to get comfortable or put baby in a different position you are of course so welcome to do so.

When you're ready,

When you have a comfortable position to either sit or lay in I invite you to either close down your eyes or just bring your gaze softly down to your suckling baby.

Just take a few moments to soften your physical body and start to deepen your breath.

Breathing fully in and out into your belly filling up your diaphragm front back side to side and then a big exhale out of the mouth.

Do that three more times inhale filling up all the way front back side to side feel the fullness of breath and then open the mouth a deep exhale let it all the way out again inhale softening the shoulders one more time because it feels good big breath in just let your breath return to a natural and spontaneous rhythm allowing it to just do its thing but still breathing fully see if you can soften your shoulders soften your jaw and take away any tension that you're feeling in your physical body with each and every exhale so you're feeling more and more relaxed breastfeeding can be a long and winding journey we may have our ups and downs so however you're feeling about it in this moment can use practice deep acceptance for what is it is a beautiful opportunity for us to connect with our babies and to take a moment of mindfulness throughout this experience something that you probably do multiple times throughout the day can you allow this particular feed to be one that you're really present with taking a moment just to tap inwards feeling your breath as it moves through your body and just ask your heart how does your heart feel in this moment being honest motherhood can be a wild journey feeling a sense of deep acceptance so however it is that you're feeling knowing that feelings are like visitors they come and they go we will go through many different seasons of motherhood now that you've deeply accepted whatever it is that you're feeling and experiencing I invite you to keep your attention at your heart space feel for a moment the breath as it moves in and out of your heart a steady flow of the inhale and the exhale creating a sense of calm and ease over your body notice the rhythm of your heart rhythm of your heart beating perhaps you can even feel or attune into your baby's heartbeat as mothers we have the huge responsibility but also the beautiful gift of being able to co-regulate with our children when we're able to find a place of calm and ease it often filters through to their experience particularly as babies so can you feel this experience with a sense of ease as you just observe the breath as it moves in and out of your heart feeling your heartbeat and perhaps noticing the shift in your baby's heartbeat in their temperament as you move deeper and deeper into a state of relaxation keeping your attention on the heart space that beautiful energetic center of your being that is connected energetically and physically to your breast to the nectar that is flowing through to your beautiful baby I invite you to see if you can envision a beautiful golden white light a healing light in your heart space starting to grow with each inhale and with each exhale as though your cultivating greater depth of this golden white light as it begins to beam from your heart radiating warmth and love being with this experience feeling this healing vibration energy golden white light in your heart growing with each inhale and exhale you might feel it as a sensation might observe it as a color might present in some other way just be with what is the golden healing white light being cultivated in your heart now I invite you to envision and to feel into that golden white light from your on the heart that from your heart chakra moving down all the way through your breast tissue and pouring its way to your baby as though you're completely shifting the vibration of your milk feeling this golden white light like a stream pouring down filling your beautiful baby with this healing and protective energy feeling that connection from your heart through your breast to them filling their entire being with this healing protective vibration this steady flow of nectar I'm right from your heart through your bosom to your baby a conscious pouring of love and intention as you feel them suckle feeling deeply the sensations the warmth and the vibration of love pouring from your heart through your breasts being with this for a few more moments now bringing your attention back not stopping this flow but just letting it be in the background of your awareness as you come back into your heart and ask yourself once again how does your heart feel and is there a word a gratitude something you'd like to infuse and send down to your baby through your milk a beautiful practice of giving that is breastfeeding we take it a little bit further and we infuse that milk with intention and offering to your baby they can choose whether they accept and then bringing the feeling back into your physical body becoming aware of the sensation of the suckling the feeling of your baby's skin against yours the warmth of their body the warmth of your body and the beautiful bond that is being created here taking a deep breath as though you're breathing in for the both of you I'm gonna deep breath out starting to take a little movement in your fingers and your toes and if your baby's still feeding that's fine you can stay with this relaxed sensation feeling this beautiful flow of energy from your heart to your movies to your baby taking a moment just to honor yourself to honor this experience of feeding of nurturing of nourishing the feeling connected to the beautiful being in your arms and take a deep breath in open your mouth once again as you exhale when you feel called to you can blink your eyes open and come back into the room feeling the earth beneath you connected and grounded back into the space that you're in wishing you a beautiful day ahead sending you lots of love on your motherhood journey I'll hopefully be with you again soon
