Welcome to this grounding and calming meditation to enjoy during any intense planetary,
Lunar or solar events.
Find a comfortable spot and position,
Either sitting or laying down where you can deeply relax now.
Take a few moments to settle in and just allow yourself to arrive here to this moment.
If you haven't already,
Gently close your eyes.
Notice how your breathing may naturally begin to slow down and deepen.
As you breathe fully in through your nose and completely out through your mouth.
Letting your breath find its natural flow in and out through your nose as all your muscles soften and relax now.
Imagine that you have entered a field full of wildflowers,
Soft grass and wise old grandmother trees.
The sun is low in the open,
Clear blue sky,
Giving off a gentle glow of golden light.
It is comfortably warm with a refreshing,
Gentle breeze.
You find a spot to sit or lay down on the inviting earth.
It is safe to completely relax and let go here as the earth fully supports and holds you.
You become aware of the gentle breeze on the top of your head and face.
Feeling more and more relaxed.
Your shoulders release and drop down and back.
Breathing in,
You notice the fresh and pleasing sense of nature and clear air all around you,
Filling your lungs and belly as you breathe slowly and deeply in and out.
You might hear the sounds of birds singing so free and full of joy,
Or the sounds of the soft wind rustling the leaves and grass.
Perhaps an edible leaf or flower petal has blown into the palm of your hand that you can choose to enjoy the taste of if you'd like.
Feeling deep calm,
Flowing down your chest and belly,
Your upper back,
Middle and lower back.
Deep calm flowing down into your hips,
Pelvis,
Legs,
Feet,
And toes.
Deep calm flowing down your arms,
Hands,
And fingers.
Feeling nourished and rooted.
Feeling energetic roots growing down from where you're touching the earth through all the layers,
Down to the heart of Mother Earth,
Gaia,
And she sends back reassurance to you in the form of a mantra.
This mantra starts with the words,
I am,
And ends with whatever word or words you might need in this moment to weather anything that might arise during this time.
Peace,
It's peace,
Calm,
Balanced,
Grounded,
Safe,
Loved.
Trust whatever word or words come to your mind.
Breathing in,
Repeat to yourself internally or out loud if you wish,
I am,
And breathing out your word or words.
Breathe in,
I am.
Breathe out.
I'll give you a few moments to repeat this mantra on your own to the rhythm of your natural breath.
Let this mantra settle into your third eye between your eyebrows.
Let it settle into your heart center.
Let it settle into your belly.
Trust that it will continue to support you even after this meditation ends.
Coming back now gently and slowly into your body.
Maybe finding some small movements.
Becoming aware of the space that you're in.
Perhaps placing a hand or both hands on your heart center.
And feeling the warmth of your heart.
Take a full,
Clearing breath in through your nose.
And a deeply releasing breath out through your mouth.
Gently and gently opening your eyes when you're ready.
Worrying your mantra in this balanced,
Calm,
Peace,
And grounding with you.
