During this meditation,
I will guide you through a simple process to help you identify and then release any emotional baggage you may still be carrying on your body.
This can sometimes show up as excess weight or feelings of pain and discomfort in the body.
So to begin,
Find a comfortable,
Quiet place where you will not be disturbed.
Sit up straight or lie down gently and take a deep breath in as you begin to relax.
Breathe in.
And release.
Breathe in.
And relax.
Breathe in.
And connect to that deep place within the center of your body,
That place of quiet and comfort and absolute calm.
Good.
To help you begin to release emotional baggage,
Get in touch with your body now and ask your body,
Where are you still carrying some emotional baggage on your body?
And just do a quick scan of your body and let your body point out where you may be carrying some emotional baggage.
When you locate it in your body,
Just notice how it feels.
Next,
Gently invite this baggage to release from your body and go ahead and put it out in front of you so you can see it more clearly.
Just notice what it is.
Is it a suitcase or a purse or a box?
Maybe something else altogether.
Just notice.
And if it feels right or comfortable to you,
Just investigate the contents of this baggage.
As you begin to know and understand what this baggage is about,
Ask yourself,
What feelings come up and still need to be acknowledged and healed regarding this baggage?
And as you acknowledge the feelings that still need healing,
Just take a moment and give yourself some self-compassion for your courage in facing this emotional baggage.
Next,
Allow yourself to know where this emotional baggage needs to go in order to be let go.
Does it need to be given away or thrown away or lifted up by the universe?
In whatever way feels right,
Just allow this emotional baggage to go now and send it out with love.
Next,
Get in touch with that area of your body that was holding the emotional baggage.
Ask that area of your body what it most needs from you at this time.
And finally,
Fill that area of your body with the most beautiful and loving,
Soulful energy that you can imagine.
Bask in this beautiful,
Soulful energy that is filling your body now with perfect vibrancy and effortless natural health and balance.
And when you are ready,
Slowly and gently move your body around,
Coming back into the room,
Bringing with you this beautiful,
Soulful light and energy.
Open your eyes,
Aware and awake,
Feeling light and ready to move on with your day.
