We don't experience change for no reason. Through change, we have an opportunity to grow and transform into something and someone we've never been before. When things are changing and so much feels out of your control, how do you respond? So often we become resistant to change that comes our way and when we resist change, it can leave us hurting. When we try to control our lives and stop anything from evolving, we cease to evolve ourselves. In this meditation, explore your relationship to change and maybe, create a new one.

Welcome to this meditation.

It's for you to accept change.

It's for you to realize that you get to choose how you'd like to navigate change.

Sometimes we cannot control change and we can choose how to respond to change.

The one and only Ram Dass said you can do it like it's a great weight on you or you can do it like it's part of the dance.

Allow yourself to soften.

Soften around your edges.

Notice where in your body you have been holding tension or holding resistance.

You can let go here.

Slow breath in.

Slow exhale.

Allow for the softening.

Allow your entire face to relax.

Your shoulders,

Your heart to soften.

Landing safely in this moment.

In.

Even though so much has changed.

Notice what remains the same.

Have you forgotten your ability to adapt?

Have you forgotten that you have overcome so much change?

Breathe in slow.

Let it go.

My friend,

When we resist change,

We make it hurt.

When we open our hearts and lean into change,

We allow for more ease.

And we open our hearts up to the beautiful possibility that this change is for us.

Not all positive change feels positive in the beginning.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Can you change the way you see this change?

Can you open your palms,

Your heart,

Your mind to this change?

Surrendering.

Leaning in.

Allowing.

Rihanna Weiss writes,

If you are in a season of growth,

Keep growing.

If you are in a season of lessons,

Keep learning.

If you are in a season of trial and error,

Keep learning.

If you are in a season of pain,

Keep pain.

If you are in a season of pain,

Keep pain.

If you are in a season of trial and error,

Keep trying.

Because the growth you do within yourself will be yours forever.

The wisdom gained from your introspection will be too.

The truths you uncover about who you are and what you really desire,

They will guide and carry you forward.

If life has handed you an opportunity to change,

I hope you take it.

We are not challenged for no reason.

We are not tested for nothing.

We are given chances to prove our own self-trust,

To show ourselves that we are ready to leap.

One day,

All the troubles you feel now will be a memory of the past,

And then they will all fade away.

One day,

You will think of the thing that consumes you the most right now,

For the very last time.

This will all pass,

But what you learn through healing yourself,

Comforting yourself,

Changing yourself,

Loving yourself,

Showing up for yourself,

Challenging yourself,

And becoming yourself,

That will stay with you always.

We are not challenged for no reason.

We are not tested for nothing.

Feel this opportunity to change.

Leaning in to your expansion,

Your evolution.

I think we forget that we endure change more often than we realize.

Can you feel the change in you,

From when you started this meditation to right now?

There are millions of cells within you changing,

Rearranging.

There is so much changing to work in your favor.

Change is good.

Change means you are growing,

You are alive.

Slow breath in,

Let it go.

Feel the shift,

The change in your heart.

May you continue to dance and flow with change.

May you continue to remember you get to choose how you are going to change.

May you continue to remember you get to choose how you change,

And how you see your life.

Breathe in slow,

Let it go.

Take your sweet time,

Blinking your eyes open if they were closed,

Feeling the change in your being,

And taking this into the rest of your day.

From my heart to yours.
