Linking Your Energy To The Earth And Ethers

This meditation leads you on a simple visualization to watch your energy move into the core of the earth then into the ethers of space, seeing yourself from a larger yet more intimate scale. This is also a part of a larger meditation series incorporated in a Reiki Level 1 and 2 Course. (21)

Hello! My name is Eden, And I am a therapist, Reiki teacher, And meditation guide. Now whether you've found this meditation through one of my Reiki courses or just through the web of life, Welcome! These meditations are intended to deepen your relationship to your intuition and gifts, And facilitate an understanding of your own internal landscape. Each meditation is also a tool that can be offered to yourself or a client, So I invite you to notice what shifts within you before, During, After, Beyond the meditation, Cataloging the effects with words and feelings and sensations. Just letting yourself take note. Allow it to be personal and universal. Let's begin! Now this is a simple meditation that I often offer myself or a client if I am in need of some grounding, Some connecting, Some remembering of our roots, Our lineage, In a soft accessible manner, As well as our connection to the world around us, Beyond us. So wherever you are, Just go ahead and allow yourself to rest, Finding comfort within your body, And allowing yourself to just notice your breath for a few rounds, Moving the shoulders away from the ears, Relaxing the muscles in the face, And releasing all those little muscles in the belly so the breath can travel through even easier. And from your heart space, Starting to imagine this beautiful light. Maybe it's emerald green, Maybe it's gold or silver, Maybe a different color, But just starting to see this orb of light. And then just imagining in your mind's eye that from the heart, Where this orb of light is, It starts to grow down, Turning into more of a thread, A tether, A beam of light. And it moves down through your body, All the way down, Down, Down, Through the feet. And this beam of energy, This thread, Travels out the feet and through the floor, All the way down into the ground, Down into the earth, The soil. And even deeper past the water table, All the way through the earth to the very center of the earth, Taking your time to mentally see this light, This energy, Make it there. And once this thread, This beam of energy is at the center of the earth, Just allowing it to join with the center of the earth, This core, This fire, This heat, This stable force. The feeling of limitless power here, Steadiness. And the earth, The core, Says you can take as much as you need because there will always be more left. There is enough. Take what you need and gather it up. So you imagine now that you gather up all of the energy from the core that you need, And starting to trace it back up this thread of energy, Noticing that there is not even a dent made in the core's power. Then this energy travels back up this thread of energy, Back through the earth, The water table, The soil, The ground, All the way up, Up, Up, Back through the floor and into the soles of your feet, Letting the soles of the feet relax, Imagining or experiencing a feeling of this extra energy moving in, Rolling up your legs, Moving through the belly, The rib cage, Back into the heart, Taking a breath here, Nice and slow, Anchoring all of this new energy in, And then gently letting this line of energy grow up through the neck and up through the head, All the way through the crown, And envisioning in your mind this line of energy growing up through the ceiling, Through the roof, Into the sky, Into the atmosphere, And watch it move into space, And watch it move deeper and deeper into space, Through our galaxy, And the next, And the next, Until you just cannot fathom any further in your mind. Soften any muscles in the face that have tensed back up, And hold this visual of totality in you, Maybe from the outside looking in, Seeing this tether to the core of the earth, Running through you all the way into infinity, Seeing this thread, Perhaps feeling this thread, Opening up to it, Being a part of it. Three breaths right here and nowhere else, And with that final breath out, You can gently let this visualization go, Taking a moment to thank yourself, Thank your mind, Thank this earth, Thank this solar system, And the next, Thanking all that is here, And all that has been here, And all that will be here, Letting yourself be a part of that miracle, Of that life, And knowing there's no rush to return to the day, But whenever you are ready, You can blink your eyes open, Deep breath in, Long breath out, Welcome back.
