Welcome.
My name is Eden,
And today we are going to do a quick centering morning meditation.
So wherever you are,
Just starting to find a little bit of stillness in your body.
Letting the spine grow nice and long,
Rooting through those sits bones.
Maybe the soles of the feet are on the ground.
Crossed in front of you.
Maybe you're still laying in bed.
Wherever you are just starting to find stillness.
In the physical body becoming still from the outside in.
And in this stillness now.
Starting to notice the gentle movement of the body with the breath.
Watching the breath as it gently opens and closes the ribcage.
Watching the belly button reach up to the sky and then relax.
Watching the chest soften.
Noticing the movement that's still here even in your stillness.
And just starting to access your steadiness even in this shifting.
Starting to relax on an even deeper level into this predictability,
This movement in your stillness.
Accessing your center.
This place within you.
Where change does exist.
Through the stillness,
Through trust in self.
Becoming so present with what is right here.
That your trust grows and grows for yourself because you know you in this moment.
You know you.
Trusting yourself in your stillness,
In the movement here too.
The ebb,
The flow,
The change,
And the steadiness.
You are still you.
You are still here.
Centered.
And perhaps you can think of this feeling of centeredness as being on one of those BOSU balls.
Where yes,
You are centered,
But it doesn't mean you can't still feel tipping from one side to the other.
You're still centered,
You're in the best position to work with what is here.
Gravity,
Movement,
Change,
They exist still in your center.
And the best way,
The strongest way to interact with this change,
This ebb,
This flow is in your center,
Is right here.
Just allowing yourself three more deep breaths as you relax into this center.
Even in your stillness,
Even in the change,
You are here holding steady at the center.
Deep breath in and let it go.
Knowing you can return to this felt sense of your center throughout the rest of your day whenever you need.
And whenever you're ready to return to the day,
Gently blinking the eyes open.
Welcome back and be well.
