Hello,

My name is Eden,

And I am a therapist,

Reiki teacher,

And meditation guide.

Now whether you've found this meditation through one of my Reiki courses or just through the web of life,

Welcome.

These meditations are intended to deepen your relationship to your intuition and gifts,

And facilitate an understanding of your own internal landscape.

Each meditation is also a tool that can be offered to yourself or a client,

So I invite you to notice what shifts within you before,

During,

After,

Beyond the meditation,

Cataloging the effects with words and feelings and sensations,

Just letting yourself take note.

Allow it to be personal and universal.

Let's begin.

And today we are going to be doing a little chakra meditation,

Just to gain some comfortability,

Familiarity with each of the main seven chakras.

So go ahead and find a tall spine wherever you are,

And if it feels comfortable for you,

You can gently close the eyes down from top to bottom,

Taking a few slow,

Presencing breaths,

Allowing yourself to be right here with this version of you,

Right now.

And we open with the root chakra,

The muladhara,

At the base of the spine.

So just go ahead and send your awareness down to that root chakra,

Down to the base of the spine.

Maybe noticing anything that's present there,

Anything that you can sense.

And maybe you imagine a beautiful red light at the base of the pelvis there.

And the sound of this root chakra is lam,

Lam.

So perhaps starting to say that mantra to yourself here,

Whether that's out loud or in your mind,

Sending that vibration down into the root chakra.

Or perhaps imagining that if you were to strike this root chakra,

This beautiful red light with a mallet,

It would make the sound lam.

Imagining that.

And we usher in a mantra for the root chakra,

I am safe.

I am safe.

Saying that out loud or in your mind,

Noticing what moves through you when you say that mantra.

Noticing anything else here that wants to be noticed.

And then we gently roll up to the sacral chakra.

And the sacral chakra is in the hips.

It's the svaristana chakra.

And perhaps you picture an orange light here,

This seat of our creativity.

And the sound of the svaristana of the sacral chakra is vam,

Vam,

Vam.

Maybe you say that out loud or in your mind,

Bringing that vibration down into the hips or the womb space.

Deep breath in,

Long breath out,

Letting yourself relax as you also invite in the mantra,

I am creative.

And just noticing what comes up in your body,

Your mind,

Your sacral chakra when you bring in that mantra and that sound.

And that orange color too.

And then we gently roll that awareness now up to the solar plexus chakra,

Right below the belly button,

The bottom of the rib cage.

This is the manipura chakra.

And it's the seat of your willpower,

That fire in the belly that drives you.

And the strong sound here is ram,

Ram,

Ram.

Saying that mantra out loud or in your mind,

Bringing that vibration into the solar plexus,

The manipura chakra.

Softening any of those little muscles in the abdominal wall as you usher this in.

And maybe here you find a brilliant yellow light,

Ball of energy resting here,

So vibrant.

And then inviting in,

I am strong.

I am strong.

Noticing what comes up for you as you usher in this phrase.

Maybe bringing it down into the solar plexus.

What do you notice?

And then gently letting that go,

Rolling your awareness up to the heart chakra,

Anahata.

This center of love right at the heart.

And this chakra's color is a beautiful emerald green,

So just imagining a warm ball of light at the heart center.

This beautiful rich green.

And the sound at the heart chakra is yam,

Yam,

Yam.

Bringing that vibration of that mantra,

That sound down into the heart.

Letting it vibrate loose any tension in the heart from the inside out.

I am love.

Bringing both of those in as truths to your body,

To your heart now.

Noticing what's here.

And then gently rolling up your awareness into the throat,

The throat chakra,

The vishuddha.

This is the seat of our expression.

And it's often portrayed as a light blue,

A sky blue.

So just imagining that light here in the center of your throat.

Letting that light soften all of those ligaments and tendons and muscle in the neck.

And the sound here is hum,

Hum.

Which can also translate to humming,

If that feels good for you and your body right now.

I encourage you to try out both.

Bringing that vibration into the throat,

Seeing how naturally it pools there as you hum.

And then ushering in the mantra,

I am expressive.

Or perhaps,

I am truthful.

Noticing how each of those land in your system,

Taking note.

Breathing,

Relaxing,

Opening.

And then we release that,

Rolling our attention,

Our awareness up to third eye center,

Between the eyebrows.

To the third eye chakra,

The ajna chakra.

The seat of intuition and wisdom.

Often this beautiful,

Brilliant,

Darker blue color.

Sometimes indigo.

And the sound here is the sound of om,

The seed sound of the universe.

Om.

Letting that sound ring for the entire out breath.

Letting it vibrate,

Third eye center.

As you also usher in the mantra,

I am connected.

I am connected.

Releasing any tension in the face,

Letting yourself soak this in even more.

Do you see that dark blue or indigo ball of light at third eye center and can it grow?

With each breath,

With each mantra,

With each phrase.

And then we gently let that go,

Rolling up to our final chakra.

The crown chakra.

This is the sahasrara chakra.

It's the place of spiritual connection.

And it's often portrayed as a brilliant purple or even a white.

And traditionally too,

This often has no sound associated with it.

It goes beyond the perceived.

It's more whole than that.

Than just one sound,

Than just a few letters,

It's everything all around.

It's the divine.

Go ahead and usher in the mantra,

I am divine.

As you imagine a purple or white ball of light at the very top of the head,

The crown.

Noticing which color feels most alive to you and just letting yourself choose that one.

Letting it be personal.

And then releasing that mantra of I am divine and letting yourself soak in the silence and all of the aliveness that exists within it for just a few breaths right now.

Let yourself open.

Noticing something here.

And then gently letting it all go,

Coming back to your whole body through the breath.

Maybe seeing yourself from a distance,

Feeling yourself wholly.

Just taking a moment to come back to whole system awareness and perception.

Taking a moment to let a message come through to yourself.

Whatever you need in this moment,

Let something in.

And then whenever you are ready to return to the day,

You can gently do so by bringing some light back in.
