Hello!
My name is Eden and I am a Reiki master,
Meditation guide,
And forever student.
And today we are going to embark on a little Reiki journey oriented around acceptance.
So if acceptance is something that you are seeking,
Something that you are searching for,
Hoping for,
Ready to usher in,
Then go ahead and find yourself in a comfortable resting position.
And for the next 60 minutes I will be ushering you into different meditations,
Visualizations,
Breath patterns,
To help support this feeling of acceptance.
Acceptance being one of those really beautiful yet tricky emotions where we can logically walk our minds into acceptance,
But feeling it from the inside out can feel more difficult.
And this is the piece of embodiment.
It's why we bring the breath,
The mind,
The body into the thoughts of acceptance.
It's why we bring the awareness,
Interweaving the knowing and the feeling in this space,
In this time.
So wherever you are,
Just making yourself a fraction more comfortable.
Maybe taking any last little wiggles,
Moving the shoulders away from the ears,
Releasing any little muscles in the lower belly that are still tense.
Letting a gentle curl come to your palms,
Your fingers.
Letting the toes splay out just a little wider as the legs relax.
And relaxing the space between the eyebrows.
The eyes rest in their sockets.
The nose is long on the face.
And the cheeks fall down the cheekbones.
The jaw relaxes.
Letting the head be fully heavy down into your support system,
Into the earth.
And just taking a moment here to practice being.
Dropping your mind into your heart space.
And letting any veils of separation between you and this present moment fall.
Letting yourself be just right here.
Practicing that inner muscle strength of noticing your own presence.
And constantly reorienting yourself back into it.
As your thoughts,
As the day tries to pull us away naturally.
This constant returning to the present.
To this breath.
To the sound of my voice.
To whatever is moving through your body.
And giving yourself grace here.
Knowing that you will not be perfect at being present.
That is okay.
That is beautiful.
Because you are human.
Having a human experience.
A human being.
Not just a human.
Not just a being.
This ability to sit in our presence,
While also going towards desires,
Dreams,
Memories,
Nostalgia.
It's this human being dance between the two.
So just knowing that you will mentally wander off and out of this present state.
And that's okay.
Your invitation for our time together is not to be perfectly still,
Perfectly silent,
Perfectly empty,
Or observant.
But just to notice when you have wandered off.
Away from the here and the now.
Taking stock of where you went.
Maybe into an emotion,
A memory,
The to-do list,
A feeling.
Saying thank you to whatever that thing was.
And kindly ushering yourself back into this present moment.
You can do that by anchoring into the breath.
Anchoring into the sound of my voice.
Or your heartbeat.
Or anything moving through your body.
Which can only be experienced in the present.
And taking a few slow,
Deep rounds of breath into the body.
The low belly,
The ribs,
The chest.
Really starting to feel what it's like to move from the inside out.
Starting with the breath.
And then gently letting those breaths go.
Allowing the mind to soften,
Unwind,
Release.
Finding a soft resting place within you.
Where your calm lives.
Where your witness lives.
And just letting the mind rest there.
Letting it find comfort in your system.
As everything finds spaciousness within you.
And settling in there while I bring in the Reiki symbols,
Guides.
Angels,
Archangels.
To ground us and clear us in this moment together.
And if there are any guides that are particular to you.
You're welcome to bring those into the space now as well.
You're welcome at all.
Reiki for acceptance.
Just starting to let each inhale of breath wash over you like a wave.
And each exhale washes back down and out the opposite direction.
Just letting each breath wash over the body.
Ushering in this energetic tide.
And what right now can you give to the tide?
To take back out.
That's been stuck for too long.
Just imagining whatever that is gently floating away with that exhale.
That tide out.
Letting yourself soften and open.
For a few more of these breaths.
And keeping with that gentle visualization.
For as long as you'd like.
Ushering in a moment of intuition here.
Knowing there's no wrong way.
There's no wrong decision here.
What does your system want?
And keeping that wave of breath moving for as long as you'd like.
But whenever you feel like the work is done.
For now.
Just gently letting that go.
And finding your way back into that calm,
Quiet state.
Within you.
No rush.
And moving into the aura now.
And the aura as it moves out beyond the body has this slightly twisting energy.
As it moves further and further away.
Winding.
And the reminder that just came in is.
That even when we are trying to accept.
Those what ifs.
And shoulds.
Could haves.
They creep in.
And they creep in because we care.
Because we care about the situation,
The person,
The outcome.
Those pieces are all based in care.
But the hard truth is that they're not based in love.
There's an inherent judgment that moves into our systems.
When we bring in the should haves,
The could haves,
The would haves,
The what ifs.
The expectations.
All of those remove us from the present.
They remove us from the reality.
The reality that's right here.
And the second that judgment enters the room.
Love has left.
They cannot coexist.
I'll say that again.
Judgment and love cannot coexist.
Taking a slow deep breath into that idea of relaxing any muscles of the head,
Neck,
Shoulders that have tensed back up.
Letting them go.
So this truth can soak in a little easier.
Where has judgment been creeping in for you?
And can you notice how that separates you from the present?
From the reality that's right here?
And inviting this version of you that holds this judgment into the space now.
This version of you that thinks of those what ifs,
Those should haves,
Those could haves,
Those would haves.
That holds these expectations.
Knowing that all of these pieces again exist because you care.
And that they're not based in love.
Can you hold this version of you in love?
In understanding?
Knowing that these pain points are there because you care.
Softening the heart space.
Letting this version of you that holds these judgments and expectations be loved too.
Holding her.
She is also doing the best she can.
With what she's been given.
And that does not mean that she can't grow and shift and change and release and accept.
And imagining this version of you that holds these judgments and moments of separation.
She starts to settle into this full version of you that's present here right now.
Imagining that her heart and your heart slowly become one.
Almost as if she dissolves into your system.
From head to toe.
Breathing in.
As you feel yourself becoming more whole and more human.
By bringing her into your system,
Not banishing her out.
This is love.
The grand alchemizer.
Knowing we can't hate anything away.
Not other people and their behavior or situations or expectations or even our own judgmental self.
We must offer it all.
Love.
To fully see the change.
Letting your breath become even more full now.
Letting the breath fill up the entire middle of the body.
And then softening the edges of the breath so much now that you start to let the breath move down into the arms.
And the legs.
And up towards the crown.
And all the way down the back.
Softening your system,
Your body so much now.
That you allow breath to flow through you entirely.
Softening,
Opening.
A human being.
And with that next exhale,
Gently letting that visualization go.
Taking stock of your system,
Maybe noticing any subtle little changes.
Letting the corners of your mouth curl up ever so slightly.
Thanking every piece of you.
Letting them know every little piece of you is safe here in your love.
And that if we are judging others,
We are also inherently placing judgment on ourselves.
So where can we instead shift that into love?
And slowly,
Gently meandering your way back into that calm,
Quiet place within you.
Where your mind rests.
I'm feeling drawn now into the solar plexus,
The sacral and the root.
These lower three chakras in the diaphragm,
Womb space and pelvis.
These lower chakras that are more oriented around the physical,
Tangible world as the ones above it.
How we show up,
How we create,
How we support and are supported.
What we need and what we want.
And there's this energy here that is like this unwound ball of twine that's just fallen on the floor.
And it's unorganized,
It's looking scattered,
But you know that it's just one long string.
It's all connected.
It's just a matter of unwinding it,
Untangling it,
Getting it back in order.
And so unwinding is what we will focus on here.
I'm trying out this new breath pattern that might start out as an imaginative,
Imaginal experience.
But that will move into your physical experience.
So imagining that the breath moves down through the right side of the body into that right lung.
Feeling that right side of the body expand with the breath.
And then at the top of the exhale you transfer the breath over to the left lung.
And exhale out that left side of the body.
And repeating that circular breath.
Inhaling down into the right,
Into that right lung.
And at the top of the breath moving the breath over to that left lung and back up and out to the left side.
Repeating that for a few minutes here.
And even if this started in your imagination,
Can you start to soften so much now that you feel the breath moving in this way?
Good.
And switching directions now.
So inhaling down through the left side of the body.
And exhaling out the right.
Evening out the breath.
Maybe noticing if one direction comes easier to your mind,
To your body.
Just noticing.
No judgment,
No need to change it.
Just being with what is.
Good.
And with that next exhale gently letting that breath pattern go.
Taking a round of breath.
Just as the breath so pleases.
Before gently moving back into that quiet,
Calm,
Observant place within you.
Moving into the back of the body now.
The back of the body is often this place energetically where pieces of our past that we think we have let go of could still be clinging.
These hard to reach,
Hard to see places on our body.
And when we think we are ready to accept that some threads of shame or guilt or judgment or of memories are still present,
Holding on,
It can weigh us down as we try to walk forward into this acceptance.
So the breath assignment here is to just start to breathe in such a way where you fill up the back of the lungs.
An often forgotten part of our lungs that has so much to offer.
So really watching the back expand,
The spine grow long,
The ribs grow wide with each breath along the back of the body.
Maybe even noticing a slight curl forward as you make more space along the back body for that breath.
Or maybe it feels like you grow a little bit taller with each breath.
Really filling up and emptying out.
And continuing with that breath while also taking a moment now to notice what has tensed back up in the body and letting that go.
Finding more spaciousness,
More ease as you ask the breath to move in this way.
Not forcing it with muscles and tightness,
But by asking the breath to move to the back of the lungs.
Noticing there is more space for the breath to take up when the body is relaxed.
And then with that next exhale,
Gently letting that breath pattern go.
Letting the lungs fill up fully front to back,
Left to right,
Bottom to top.
Feeling their fullness,
Having found a new place to expand.
Letting it be easy.
And then drawing your awareness again to the back of the body.
Bringing that mind's eye or that imagination back online.
And just picturing your back in your mind's eye.
And asking your energetic system,
Where are these old pieces,
These old stories,
These old judgments,
Shame,
Guilt.
Where are they holding on?
And letting whatever answer comes through be perfect.
Yes,
This can be made up.
Yes,
This can be true.
It does not matter.
Just allowing whatever came through to be true for now.
And pinpointing that place on the back where that old story is still holding on.
Maybe you also start to envision a texture,
A color,
A weight,
A shape of this thing.
Of this old story.
Making it up,
Picturing it.
Again,
It does not matter.
Holding that in your mind's eye.
Now that you know so much more about this story and where it's holding on and what it looks like.
Imagining now that you step under a shower head.
And this calm,
Gentle,
Soothing water washes down your back.
In this constant flow.
What would it take for this energetic shower to wash that story away?
Again,
Keeping this an imaginal experience and letting it play out in your head.
If there was this water moving down the back and this story stuck where it is.
Can you watch it in your mind's eye wash away?
Perhaps it seems like it might need to be scraped off.
Or held like a baby bird.
Maybe it needs a higher water pressure.
Maybe it needs to be shaken off.
Again,
Just imagining.
Knowing there's no right or wrong.
There's no fake or real.
It's just in your imagination.
Letting that be true enough.
What would it take to let this story finally wash down the drain?
And can you give yourself that now?
Imagining too that this water blowing down the back,
Carrying this story away,
Is love.
In material.
Loving this story.
Knowing it was always built to support but just no longer serves you.
Letting it go with love.
What would that be like?
Releasing any muscles in the face,
The neck,
The shoulders,
The belly that have tensed back up.
And regardless of how that picture in your mind's eye has shifted and changed,
We're going to let it go.
Thanking your body.
Thanking your mind.
For holding that.
For finding that truth.
For letting it be truth.
And slowly,
Gently,
With love and grace and kindness,
Making your way back into that calm,
Quiet,
Meditative state.
And starting to imagine now that there is this beautiful,
Brilliant,
Gold orb of light in the center of your chest.
And this golden orb of light feeds on your breath.
And so with each round of breath,
This golden light grows larger and larger.
Never dimming,
Just growing stronger and brighter.
Softening.
Opening.
And deepening.
Until you see this golden orb of light encompassing your being from head to toe.
And relaxing into this visualization.
Perhaps even feeling that tickle of golden light on the skin.
And imagining now that by the soles of the feet,
That golden light opens.
So that it starts to share down,
Down,
Down as well.
This golden light now grows and sends this golden thread out through the feet.
And through the floor.
And through the foundation and into the ground.
And through the crust of the earth.
Through the mantle and all the way into the core of earth.
Imagining this golden thread of light that's anchored within you.
Now also anchoring into the core of the earth.
Your golden light,
This golden thread,
Becoming one with the golden energy of the earth's core.
And the earth says that you can take as much as you need.
Knowing there will always be more energy here for you.
And so you gather up any amount of this golden light from the core of the earth.
Saying thank you.
And bringing it back up.
Your golden thread.
Your channel.
Up through the mantle,
The crust of the earth,
Into the ground,
The foundation,
The floor.
And back into your system through your feet.
Bringing all of this energy into your system.
Into this golden orb that is already encompassing you.
And now we let this golden light grow up through the crown of your head.
This golden light travels up through the ceiling,
The roof,
Into the sky,
The atmosphere.
And through into space.
Winding past all of the planets in our solar system and onto the next galaxy.
And letting this golden light extend,
Expand,
Until you just cannot imagine it going any further.
Reaching the limits of our imagination.
And just breathing here.
As you hold this totality.
Seeing almost as if from above,
This golden energy anchored in the core of the earth.
Traveling through you and joining with the cosmos.
One long line of energy.
Now what human thing can you give up to the cosmos now?
What human thing would you like to let go of to usher in acceptance?
And can you let the cosmos hold it?
Imagining the space that you are creating right now as you let go of this old story,
This old thing,
This old idea.
To be filled with both stardust and dirt.
The alchemizers of our reality.
Physical,
Metaphysical.
And we nurture this stardust and this dirt with love.
Knowing that anything that will grow out of this space now will be more of you and for you than whatever it was you just chose to release.
Trusting too that that thing,
That idea,
That old story now gets the chance to become something more beautiful too.
There is no shame in alchemizing because everything gets a second chance.
Letting go means offering up.
And if you haven't already,
You can release that visualization.
Coming back into your quiet,
Calm center.
Taking perhaps just a moment to notice any subtle shifts in the body,
In the mind.
So good.
Nice recalibration and release.
And gently now starting to feel the breath inside the body again.
Getting familiar with just the sensation of breath inside the body.
And feeling now how the body shifts with each breath.
Feeling the place where the body and the breath meet that support system beneath you.
And sending your awareness now to the corners of your room.
Just knowing exactly where they are without needing to open the eyes.
Reorienting back into this space.
And knowing there is no rush to return back to the day.
But whenever you are ready to usher light back in,
You can gently begin to blink the eyes open.
Welcome back.
And I'll see you next time.
