Here is a short meditation to infuse ourselves with the healing power of love.
This is one of my favorite ways to very easily drop into a meditative state wherever I am and whenever I need a little healing break to reset and refresh myself.
Begin by pulling up a memory of a time when you felt deeply satisfied by life.
This could be a memory where you feel totally safe,
At ease,
Content.
You might be with loved ones,
You might feel happiness,
Joy,
Or gratitude.
This is a memory where all is well and life is good.
Begin to gently awaken each of your senses to allow yourself to fully immerse in this memory.
What are you feeling?
Seeing?
Touching?
Hearing?
Maybe even smelling?
Let yourself melt and dissolve into this memory.
Let it embrace you.
Let it construct around you so that you are fully reliving all the goodness of this cherished memory.
Let this memory hold you.
Let it support you.
Perhaps leaning back and relaxing into all the beautiful sensations of this memory.
Maybe you are already tipping your head back slightly.
This is biologically such a powerful sign of surrender.
We are exposing the front of our body,
Our neck.
We are fully surrendered to this memory.
Let this memory heal you with love,
Safety,
Gratitude,
And anything else that feels right,
That feels good.
Letting it sink deep into your bones.
Letting it ground you into your body,
Into the earth.
As you start to slowly let this memory dissolve,
Feel yourself gently called back to present time,
To the space you are in,
To the earth which holds and supports you.
Perhaps taking a moment to share with her,
With Mother Earth,
A bit of this healing nectar of your memory.
Maybe showing her what you felt or perhaps a desire to welcome more of this into your life.
When you are ready,
Allow yourself to return to your day feeling refreshed by the healing powers of life.
