This meditation is designed to help balance the flow of energy in the kidney and bladder meridian lines to clear emotional energy associated with fear, using visualisation, body scanning awareness and influence from Neuro Emotional Technique to bring calm from fears.

Transcript

The intention of this meditation is to bring balance to the flow of energy through our kidney and bladder meridian lines.

So take a moment to get settled in a comfortable position.

If there is anything that you can do to make yourself even 10% more comfortable then feel free to move now.

Then relax the jaw,

Let the shoulders drop,

Activate just enough through your deep core to feel supported but release any tension or gripping in the hips.

And when you get settled take a few deep breaths in through the nose and breathing out through the mouth.

Watching what the movement of breath is doing to your body,

The subtle movements of the inhale and release deeper into relaxation with the exhale.

See if you can feel the breath move into the base of the lungs.

Maybe just breathing in and out of the nose now.

Feel the breath gently move more into the belly and let your shoulders just float with the natural movements of the chest.

Notice any sensations happening in your body right now.

Try not to judge them just watch and notice.

And in this moment notice if there are any feelings or emotions stirring in your body.

Any subtle sensations that you may have originally been unaware of.

Be aware of your mind of any persistent thoughts that may be coming through.

Just as easily as those thoughts arise watch them leave.

No need to follow the stories that come with the thoughts just return to your sense of feeling and being.

You may notice that in the pure present moment without the constant stream of thoughts there is very little emotion.

Our emotions are a result of our thoughts which is completely normal it's all a part of being human.

Recognizing how the thoughts may be affecting our body is a wonderful skill to cultivate.

Use the breath now to bring a sense of ease and flow throughout the body.

Breathing in the energy flows in and with an exhale the energy flows out.

Imagine now at the arch of the foot a small light a small spark maybe even a bubble or you can feel a tingle appearing in the arch of the left foot.

This is the energy flowing into your kidney meridian line and watch it start to move with ease along the kidney meridian.

Slowly it flows out the inside of the ankle,

Out the inside of the leg and over the inner knee.

Traveling up the thigh it moves deep into the groin continuing centrally just to the left of the belly button at the front of the abdomen all the way up the chest until it reaches a point just under where the left collarbone meets the breastbone.

With an inhale you see this light,

This energy and move up to the inside of the left eye the start of the bladder meridian line.

Just as easily as it flowed up the body watch now as the light travels over the forehead,

Over the top of the skull then back down the back of the head down the bladder meridian line.

Traveling down the back of the neck continuing all the way down the spine.

Slowly it moves down over the sacrum flowing down the back of the leg,

Over the knee,

Down the calf,

All the way down the heel out to the little toe.

Once this light energy has completed its circuit with the next inhale it now appears at the base of the right foot into the right arch where it begins to flow again.

Traveling up the kidney meridian line and flowing back down the right bladder meridian line.

It's traveling up the inside of the right ankle,

Up the right inner leg and thigh all the way deep into the right hip.

Traveling out the center of the body just to the right side all the way to the place where the collarbone meets the breastbone.

Energy flowing inside the body with the next inhale this light travels up to the inside of the right eye and then flowing back down the bladder meridian line over the forehead,

Over the top of the skull and down the back of the body,

Down the spine and all the way down the back of the right leg out to the little toe.

Maybe this light flows in time with the breath or maybe it moves at its own speed but it flows nice and easily along its path.

Watch this light it continues to travel around these circuits up the kidney meridian line and down the back of the body down the bladder meridian line.

As you watch this color move around the body if there are any areas that the light does not flow as easily no need to worry.

Lean into the breath in these places watch the energy as it is still flowing it is still taking its path with awareness and with patience a gentle ease can return to the flow.

Fear is an emotion that we think keeps us safe but fear out of balance leads to excessive restriction.

We may begin to dread the future but be fearful to act and change it.

When fear takes over we feel paralyzed and stuck.

As this light flows around the body see where the resistance is where the fear has been building.

If you feel the need to move then take it there is no need to feel any sense of restriction but do whatever you need to to help the release of sensations to help release any blockages or tension.

Balance in the kidney and bladder meridian lines will help bring courage.

We act from a place of strength bringing the qualities of water to our actions.

We can flow through life with ease making adjustments to the path without hesitation or judgment.

Using our slow mindful power we can carve out a path of our own that brings freedom healing and life.

Finishing off the circuit that you are on watching that light finish at the end of the right bladder meridian line all the way down near the little toe and when you are ready bringing awareness to a place in the body where there was some restriction in the flow of energy or anywhere that any other funny sensations have appeared.

Using one hand contact that area of the body where you felt some resistance and bringing the other hand to your forehead and just watch what happens with a sense of curiosity.

Maybe you'd like to visualize another circuit of energy.

Maybe you are happy just allowing the body to change.

Watch as it releases what it feels called to replacing tension with ease.

Whatever has arisen just watch these sensations lean into them no need to fear them and when you feel ready releasing the hands back to your lap and using your right hand feeling the pulse of the left wrist.

Connect into the pulse that is three fingers away from the thumb on the left wrist and sense its strength and its rhythm.

Whatever your intention for this meditation if there have been any persistent thoughts that have come up or if you are aware of an imbalance of fear or feeling stuck in your life recall that intention now.

Notice any sensations that come up with them maybe feelings of restriction,

Increased heart rate or maybe the body starts to feel a bit charged.

Again there is no need to be afraid of these sensations they are just physiological changes naturally occurring in the body.

Bringing your left hand now up to the forehead the right hand still connects to the pulse points.

Can you bring your awareness to the sensations and thoughts around this imbalance of fear?

Take a few more deep breaths in and ask yourself is there another option?

Another path of courage,

A path of least resistance.

Then start to notice a release,

A release of the control that fear has on that situation.

Can you notice the charge around the emotion starting to fade?

Can you picture the new path of courage beginning to take shape?

When you feel like you have released what you needed to and brought a bit more balance back to this area of your life then release the hands and keep the awareness on your breath.

Start to notice what is going on around you now,

The other sounds in the room,

The feeling of the floor beneath you.

Take a few deeper breaths,

Roll the shoulders and begin to shift your focus back to the place that you were in before slowly opening your eyes.

Give yourself time if you need before you move on and give yourself thanks for taking the time to be present today.
