Hello and welcome to your meditation for today.
Today we are going to concentrate on meditating with images.
So go ahead and find a comfortable position.
You're welcome to lie down.
You are welcome to be sitting up.
This can be done at any point of your day.
It's nice to use as a relaxation technique.
Maybe if you're on a break at work.
Or you're trying to come down from all the stress.
It's also very nice to fall asleep too.
It's not very long.
We'll just be here for a few minutes.
So allow yourself to find the space you need.
If you're sitting,
Find yourself sitting up nice and tall to the spine.
Close your eyes gently and start to settle into your space.
If you're lying down,
Maybe you have a pillow under your head or under your knees.
Wherever you are,
Have a safe,
Quiet space you can use as your own.
As we meditate through,
I'm just going to name different images.
And I want you to see them in your mind and concentrate on them and go to that place.
This will help you stay in the moment.
Help your mind concentrate on one thing at a time.
And let go of all the outside cares,
Worries,
And struggles.
Go ahead and release all the air out of your lungs,
Out of your belly.
Release and let go.
And when you're ready,
Take in a nice deep breath through the nose.
Fill all the way up to the top.
And open mouth,
Exhale,
Release and let go.
Imagine yourself in a space.
As you look out in that space,
You see powdery white sand.
Powdery white sand that surrounds you.
Maybe your toes are in it,
It's nice and warm.
Look up,
Crystal clear blue skies.
Not a cloud in the sky for the moment.
Just enjoying looking out into oblivion.
Nothing out there to worry or care.
Just settling into the moment of the clear blue skies that surround you.
The sun beaming.
You feel the warmth of the sun beaming on your face,
On your body.
Lighting up the sky.
You look out and there's an ocean.
Waves crashing.
The ocean is turquoise blue.
The waves crash and keep you present in the moment.
A cool breeze comes through as the mist of the ocean goes across your face and your body.
The sound of the ocean.
The salty air relaxes grounds and roots you.
The crystal clear sky has a big fluffy white cloud that comes through.
Billowy,
Moving slowly across the sky and through your mind.
You follow it.
Taking you to a space of relaxation.
Comfort.
And being present.
As the cloud moves across the blue sky.
Goes in front of the sun for just a moment.
Creating a nice little shady nook as the ocean waves crash up and a mist comes across your face.
The cloud continues on the skies open up the sun beams.
You're in a perfect space.
Exactly where you should be in this moment.
Feeling safe.
Comfortable and rooted in your present moment.
You're welcome to continue to stay here.
Going through those same images.
Keeping yourself in your moment.
Or you can begin to take a nice deep breath in.
Fill everything up your lungs your belly feel expansion.
And when you're ready.
Open your mouth.
Take a nice exhale out and release anything that you don't need or want to take with you.
