This is a guided practice that takes beginners in meditation, or anyone feeling stressed or anxious, into a deep state of relaxation, stillness and silence, freeing you from negative patterns of thought or emotions, eventually leading to a state of spontaneous meditation. Stress affects us at all levels, physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual and detrimental impacts the quality of our life experience and of our relationships. This practice will help you reduce and manage stress when it comes up, and work towards resolving the various factors of stress in your life, in order to become more and more relaxed and at peace as a result. The less stress you feel, the more present, aware, and conscious you become. And the more conscious you are, the more you can enjoy living a creative, abundant, and happy existence.

Beginners stress relief.

Find a comfortable place where you can sit on a chair or on the floor or simply lay down.

Close your eyes and intend to relax.

Inhaling through your nose,

Exhaling out of your mouth,

Dissolving the tensions from the top of your head all the way down to your toes.

Feeling the muscles of your body relax one by one.

Feeling warm,

Tingling sensations moving down from the crown all the way to your toes.

Slowing down,

Lengthening your breath.

Feeling more and more relaxed,

Peaceful.

Now bring your awareness at the center of your chest,

In your heart,

Connecting to your heart.

Becoming aware of your heart beating at the center of your chest,

Listening for the sound of your heart as it beats.

Dissolving the outer and inner distractions,

Focusing on your heart beating at the center of your chest.

Finding yourself completely absorbed by the sound of your heartbeat.

Relaxing into the sound of your heartbeat.

Feeling very peaceful.

Noticing how as you slow down the breath and lengthen it,

Your heart becomes more and more relaxed,

Your heartbeat slows down.

Becoming aware and focusing on the sound of your heart,

On the rhythm and the pace of your heart beating.

Absorbed by the sound of your heartbeat.

Feeling more and more relaxed,

More peaceful.

If you find it difficult to hear your heart beating in your chest,

Continue to quiet down,

Allowing your entire attention to be absorbed by your heartbeat.

Feeling more and more relaxed,

More and more at peace.

Absorbed by the heartbeat.

Slowly begin to deepen your breath,

Still focusing on the heartbeat and how it responds.

Gently wiggling your fingers and your toes and slowly opening your eyes.

This was amazingly effective at helping me de-stressing quickly. I've never really listened to my heartbeat echoing in my headphones before but it was really useful
