This meditation, Acceptance, incorporates two powerful methods aimed at teaching you how to let go. The intention is to help you become familiar with the feeling of acceptance and how it feels like in your body to let go, surrender, and come into a state of acceptance. Acceptance doesn’t mean agreeing, it means simply allowing the energy to flow as it is so as not to block it and get stuck. When we accept, we are empowered to change what is in a conscious and peaceful manner.

Acceptance Meditation This meditation is part of our acceptance workshop.

By practicing this meditation,

You will be able to reach a state of acceptance of yourself,

Others and all things in your life,

So that you can liberate the energy of the past and feel accepting of all things.

Helping you in this way to move forward in your life towards your intentions and goals.

If you enjoy our meditation,

So if you'll find a position of comfort,

Moving your body around,

And once you found this position of comfort,

You'll relax to soften your body.

Maybe let out a sigh and just let go of whatever you've been carrying today.

Allowing for new energy to flow into your body as you release the old.

And now,

If you would identify,

Get in touch with one thing,

One feeling,

Memory or an event that you haven't been accepting.

Any aspect of your life or your imagination that you've been fearing or rejecting.

And as you bring up the feeling,

The imagining,

And you remain present in your body,

Intend to relax into it,

Intend to not tense around it.

To accept whatever it is that you're feeling,

Whatever thoughts,

Emotions,

Sensations,

Energies.

Accepting whatever arises so that it can flow clear and release as you accept it.

Letting it be whatever it is.

Letting yourself feel whatever you feel.

And noticing what that might be.

Continue to relax around it,

In it,

With it.

Relaxing into the present moment.

Accepting of whatever arises in your consciousness.

Noticing any resistance.

Noticing the nature of it.

Asking yourself,

Is this resistance really helping you?

Accepting of the resistance.

Accepting the resistance as it comes up.

Without judgement.

Without suppression or rejection.

One with the resistance.

In complete acceptance of it.

Recognising your goodness.

Even the goodness of the parts that resist.

That they're doing their best with what they know.

Bringing these child parts into the light within you.

Accepting them and their fear.

And how they've been doing their very best.

Bringing them back in to integrate with your whole being.

So you can accept and be whole.

And as you give space to these child parts,

As you let them express,

Exist.

Intend to become aware of how you can teach them to let go.

To let go of the resistance.

To clear whatever fear might be motivating them to resist.

And you can gently ask this part of yourself or these child parts of yourself,

Could I let this go?

And listen and feel.

For what they say,

For how they feel about letting go.

Once you feel a sense of letting go,

A sense of release,

A sense of ease.

Ask this part or these parts of yourselves,

Would I let this go?

And once again listen,

Feel.

Until you feel or receive a message of the part or the parts of you feeling safe.

And when you do,

Ask yourself,

Ask this part of yourself or these parts of yourself,

When,

When will I let this go?

And if this moment of acceptance,

If letting go of the resistance to accepting,

Has come for you,

Then you can say now and simply let go.

And as you feel whatever you feel,

Releasing,

As you let go more and more,

Allow yourself to relax,

Smile,

Surrender.

More and more as you let go.

Letting go of the thoughts,

Images,

Memories,

Feelings,

Pain and suffering.

As it leaves you and your body,

Relaxing,

Smiling,

Surrendering.

And as you continue to experience this process of relaxing,

Smiling,

And surrendering in the present moment,

Feel your heart opening.

And as your heart opens,

More and more of the people,

Situation,

Events,

Memories,

That had been trapped,

That you had been holding on to,

Can release.

Feel safe,

Letting them go.

Realizing that as you do,

You liberate energy into your field.

So that something new can be experienced,

Received,

Created.

And enjoy this liberation of energy,

This creative moment,

That you are choosing.

Feeling grateful for this opportunity To create,

Receive,

And experience something new.

Whatever you choose,

Whatever opens your heart,

Even more.

Bringing your attention to your heart.

Feeling your heart.

And the light of your soul coming in through the back of your heart.

This beautiful light of acceptance.

Unconditional love and acceptance.

This light filling your heart,

Your body,

And your aura.

Bringing you into the very present moment.

Into the beautiful now.

Creating you from all pain and suffering and struggle.

Bringing ease and flow.

Bringing grace,

Surrender,

And faith.

Bringing the love of spirit.

Feel those energies,

Those qualities.

Embody them.

Feel them in each and every one of your cells.

Resonating with them.

Becoming one with them.

In a state of complete acceptance.

Unconditional love and gratitude.

For the experience.

And as you continue to bring this experience,

These qualities,

These energies into your whole being.

Into your body.

Into the space that you're in.

Into the time that you're in.

Filled with unconditional love.

Acceptance and gratitude for all of it.

When you are ready,

You can gently and lovingly open your eyes.

Open them.
