Embracing the present moment meditation,
Find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
Gently close your eyes and take a deep breath in and slowly exhale.
Allow yourself to arrive fully in this moment.
Bring your awareness to the points of contact between your body and the surface beneath you.
Feel the steady support holding you.
Imagine roots growing from your body,
Connecting you deeply to the earth,
Grounding you in stability and peace.
Now shift your focus to your breath.
Simply observe its natural rhythm.
No need to change anything,
Just notice the gentle rise and fall.
As you inhale,
Silently say,
I am here,
And as you exhale,
I am present.
Repeat this for a few moments,
Allowing each breath to anchor you in the now.
Gently expand your awareness to the space around you.
Notice any sounds,
Distant or near,
Without attaching to them.
Let them come and go like waves on the shore.
Bring the same openness to your thoughts,
Observing them without judgment,
Letting them pass like clouds in the sky.
Now imagine a still lake deep within you.
The surface is smooth,
Undisturbed.
With each breath,
Let your mind become like this lake,
Calm,
Clear,
And at peace.
Rest here in the stillness,
Knowing that nothing needs to be done,
Just being is enough.
Take one more deep breath in,
Filling yourself with a sense of ease and presence,
And slowly exhale,
Releasing any tension.
Gently bring awareness back to your body.
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Carry this feeling of calm into the rest of your day.
