Being "hard on yourself" is a state of mind that begins with the thought "I'm not good enough," or "I'm terrible at this." When we hear these thoughts, we end up with feelings of bitterness, frustration, and anger toward ourselves. To stop doing this, we have to be aware that we are actually doing this and learn a new way by inviting awareness and paying attention. All of this is done with practice.

You have a fabulous voice, very calm and soothing. I know I am extremely hard on myself. Your meditation let me "lighten up" on myself for imagined failings ... at least during the meditation. I am trying not to beat myself on this. šŸ˜€ The floating imagine was perfect. I will return to your meditation to "lighten up" longer then the meditation. Step by step.
