Hi,
Welcome to Peacebeam and to day one of this Begin Bright series.
In this series we are dedicating the next month of Peacebeams to change to the transitions in our life,
Beginnings and endings.
And the aim of this series is to help us accept change,
Lean in to the newness of new cycles in a way that is kind to ourselves and kind to the world around us.
So let's begin.
Step one,
Notice.
As always we just notice how we feel,
Check in.
What is our mood,
Our emotions,
How is it feeling to be in our body today.
And we just allow ourselves to be under our own gentle observation for a few moments.
Step two,
Breathe.
Just bring your attention now to your breath and continue breathing normally but just start to notice how your breath moves in and out,
Tuned to its natural rhythm.
And now just imagine that your breath is moving in and out of your heart.
That your heart and your breath are greeting each other,
Allowing their rhythms to synchronise so that you can drop in to that deep space of your own natural rhythm.
And just relax.
Step three,
Activate.
There are lots of transitions in our lives,
Large and small.
The turn of a day,
The end of a year,
The beginning of a new relationship,
The end of an old one,
A move,
A new job,
So many things.
And when these transitions come,
We often mark them externally but we don't always give ourselves the opportunity to gather them into our inner worlds,
To really allow them to alter our internal landscape and to change us.
This series brings us into our interior world with kindness and simplicity,
To mark our transitions within and allow the changes in our lives to arrive with harmony.
We don't always like change and we tend to seek the comfortable and the familiar.
But consider this,
There is nothing,
Not a single atom of the cosmos,
Nor of you,
That is not in a state of constant change.
It is the nature of life.
Change and movement is our true nature.
So we're going to lean into that and begin to look at our transitions with reverence and gratitude.
Step four,
Beam.
Breathe in now the refreshing power of change and the energy of constant flow and movement that is your life.
Let this energy move through your body,
Clear the cobwebs from your mind and intend for that freshness to mark the beginning of brightness for you and for the people around you,
The people that you meet,
People that you pass on the street.
Let everyone be touched by your energy of bright flowing change.
