Welcome to Peacebeam,
Let's begin.
Step one,
Notice,
Just notice how you feel,
Take a moment to tune into yourself,
Feel your emotions,
Your mood and just notice if you're holding tension in your body anywhere,
Maybe your neck,
Maybe your shoulders and just let it go.
Step two,
Breathe,
Just bring your attention now to your breath,
Continue to breathe normally but just start to notice its rhythm,
Just watch it,
Your natural inhale and your natural exhale.
And very gently now,
Just begin to extend,
Your in-breath and your out-breath,
So it's easy,
You're still breathing normally,
Just a little deeper.
And now imagine that that breath is moving in and moving out through your heart and that as this happens your heart and your breath meet in a rhythm that they create together,
The rhythm of your relaxed self and just feel that arrive now,
That ease.
Step three,
Activate.
We live in busy times,
To-do lists,
Notifications,
Pings and tweets punctuate our day and it is easy to feel that there is not enough time that somehow we cannot pause.
So today is a gentle invitation to let go of that idea,
To give yourself permission to touch the vastness of time,
To allow yourself to feel its spaciousness and the fact that it is available to you whenever you choose to drop into it.
And so right now,
As you are,
Wherever you are,
Wherever you are,
Give yourself a moment to pause,
Feel the air temperature on your skin,
The pressure on your body where you meet a surface as you sit or stand,
Hear the sounds,
Notice the smell of the air,
The taste in your mouth and just be here now.
You're touching time,
Allow yourself to drop into its generosity,
Its constant flow,
One moment after another after another.
There is time,
Let yourself feel it and relax and smile.
Step four,
Beam.
This spaciousness of time is a natural form of generosity.
It can contain all of us,
All things,
All experiences.
So feel that generosity in yourself,
That opening to kindness to yourself.
Allow yourself to pause and take that feeling,
That calm and intend for it to be for everybody's benefit today,
For you,
The people around you and the people you meet.
Have a beautiful day.
Thank you.
