Another handful white all home all Hello,
Welcome back to a week of peace,
Day two,
Memory.
Let's begin as you close your eyes and follow my voice with step one,
Notice.
Just notice how you feel today.
Ask yourself that question.
How am I today?
And just notice what comes back.
Are you happy?
Are you worried?
Are you anxious or calm?
Here it is,
Just notice,
No judgment,
Just noticing and smile.
As we move to step two,
Breathe.
Just bring your focus now to your breath and gently rest it there on your inner gaze,
To the natural rhythm of your breathing.
And now start to very slightly extend your in-breath and your out-breath.
It's still comfortable,
Still your natural rhythm,
But you're breathing just a little deeper.
In and out,
The natural rhythm of you.
Just imagine now that each breath is moving in and out of your heart.
The rhythm of your breath and the rhythm of your heart are meeting,
Greeting each other in the quiet center of your being.
And just allow yourself to feel your heart rate slowing,
Your brow unfurrowing,
And let yourself be in that neutral state of peace in yourself.
And when you're ready,
Come with me to step three,
Activate.
And today,
The invitation is to look through your sweet memories for a treasure.
Often our sweetest memories are of nothing particularly unusual,
But they bring to mind a moment when life was beautiful,
Uncomplicated,
And perfect,
Even if it was for just a moment.
A summer afternoon,
A perfume of a nearby rose garden,
A dinner table full of laughing friends,
A kiss,
The fragrance of a new city,
All memories where there is such sweetness,
Moments when all was well with the world,
A pause in life,
When there was no more perfect place to be than right there,
When you belonged to the world and the world belonged to you.
Memory is a mysterious part of us,
Full of these treasures,
Of these moments of perfection,
Carefully stored,
Ready for you to take out now.
So take some quiet moments and find your sweet memories.
Feel your brow unfurrow,
Feel your heart soften,
And let yourself drift in the sweetness.
Beautiful.
Now let's move to step four,
Peace beam.
So gather that calm,
That sweetness,
And ease that you have accessed,
And intend now that it's good will be for everybody's benefit today.
Beam the wish of unrestricted good to yourself,
To the people around you,
To the people you interact with,
The people that you pass on the street,
And to anchor the practice when you're thanking somebody today.
Really mean it.
Change the mundane thanks that we automatically give into something genuine and heartfelt,
Something that might become a sweet memory.
Thank you for listening.
Have a beautiful day.
