Was du lernen wirst
This course introduces you to the mystical realm of the Tarot. A Tarot deck is a useful tool for understanding self and others, and functions as a mirror for yourself and your relationships. This course will introduce you to the basics of the Tarot deck - the meanings of the cards, and teach you some different ways you can use the Tarot to deepen your relationship with yourself and others. You will learn a bit about the history and origins of Tarot, about how the cards represent historical and archetypal roles, about the different Tarot decks available, and some different Tarot spreads you can try out for yourself.
Akasha is a soul alchemist and spiritual guide (yoga and meditation) who has had a deep understanding of the Tarot gained from twenty five years practicing with the Aleister Crowley Thoth Tarot deck. She uses the Tarot as a tool for gaining knowledge and insight on her own soul's journey, as well as doing readings for others to offer insights on...

Lektion 1
Tarot: What Is It? And What Are Its Origins?
In today's lesson we dive into what the Tarot deck is - how many cards it comprises of, which suits, etc, and we also look briefly at the history of the Tarot. What are its origins and how did it grow and evolve into becoming the tool for divination it is as of today, used by many many people all around the world to gain a deeper understanding of self and others?
Lektion 2
How Did The Tarot Come To Be Used As A Divinatory Tool?
Today we take a deeper dive into how the Tarot deck started to be used as a divinatory tool. We look at the connection made between Tarot and Humourism by 18th century French occultist, Jean-Baptiste Alliette, who was one of the first authors to write a guidebook to Tarot. We also look at the life of the creator of the Thoth Tarot deck, 'Meister' Aleister Crowley.
Lektion 3
The Four Suits Or 'Pip Cards' Of The Tarot
Today's lesson looks at the four different suits in the Tarot Deck. We look at the different qualities and energies of each suit, including the element that governs each suit, and the masculine or feminine energies associated with each suit. This lesson will familiarise you with the significance of each of the suits: Cups, Wands, Swords and Disks.
Lektion 4
An Analysis Of The Cindarella Fairy Tale Through The Tarot's Lens
In today's lesson, we take a look at the fairy tale, Cindarella. We look at the different archetypes (victim, hero, damsel in distress, rescuer etc.) and roles that the different characters are playing in this story, and we find the Tarot cards which could be a good match for these roles. And then we dive a bit deeper into the meanings and the morals of this story, using the Tarot as a way to help us understand what's going on. Finally, I ask you to imagine yourself as the hero / antihero of a fairy tale in your life today. What story would it be, and what would be your character? Which Tarot card is a fit for that?
Lektion 5
Magic, Mysticism, Morals And Ethics In Tarot
Today we start out by looking a bit more into what is a mystic. We look at Albert Einstein's famous quote about the universe, and we then look at ethical and moral questions around being a Tarot Reader for friends or clients. Is it OK to predict futures? If so, how far ahead? What about if your client is not in a very good emotional state? Should you still do a reading? We look at all of these questions so that, if you are a Tarot Reader or you are considering becoming one, you'll be able to be clear on your ethics and morals with your clients before starting.
Lektion 6
The Trumps And The Court Cards
In today's lesson, we look at some of the trump cards in a bit more detail, and we also look at the court cards (Prince, Princess, Queen, Knight). We look at how these cards reflect the situation of the royal courts in Europe at least up until the 19th century when most of the power in the European courts was dissolved. But until then, all of these different characters (Prince, Princess, Knight, Queen, Fool) inhabited the court, and played an active part in the life of the governance of these European municipalities. So we see that the Tarot was reflecting the real world power dynamics at the highest echelons of aristocratic power in Europe. Can the Tarot help us to imagine what it would be like to be a Prince, a Princess, a Queen, a Knight, a Hermit or a Fool?
Lektion 7
Doing Tarot For Yourself: An Example Of A 4 Card Tarot Reading
In today's lesson, I take you through a four card Tarot spread as a reading. First card is the 'Theme' of the reading. The second card is 'Energy Being Received' in this reading, Third card is 'Energy Being Expressed' in the reading and the Fourth card is the 'Future Direction Moving Forwards'. I share with you a reading I did for myself and translate the meanings of each card through the lens of my experience.
Lektion 8
Some Tarot Spreads: The Seven Chakra Reading And The Seven Card Eclipse
In today's lesson we learn about a few other Tarot card spreads, including the 7 Chakra Reading (where you choose a card for each of your Chakras) as well as the Seven Card Eclipse that looks at past, present and future. I hope this inspires you to play Tarot with your friends, family or partner.
Lektion 9
A Talk About The Different Tarot Decks Available Today
In this final lesson, I do a bit of a review of the Tarot decks that are available apart from the Thoth deck. I also share with you some alternative tools for mystics which you might be interested in looking into, such as the Tao Te Ching, the I Ching, Runes and the like.
