
Forgiveness Meditation for Self-Love

This is a 20-minute meditation on Self Forgiveness, as a part of a practice of Self Love and Self Acceptance. In invite in your spirit guides and angels to support you in the practice of Self-Forgiveness, taking you through a journey meeting your inner child at different ages. There is flute background music.

Hello and welcome to this guided meditation on self-love.
Today the theme is forgiveness.
So before we can really fully love ourselves we need to forgive ourselves or anything we may have done in the past that we may have any feelings of regrets or pain around.
In order to love ourselves we need to come into full and complete acceptance of ourselves as we are right now and forgiveness is a very powerful practice for this.
So come into a relaxed seated position,
Hands facing upwards on your knees.
So upwards opening to receive healing,
To receive light into the body through the hands.
So we will start with a thanks to all our spirit guides to come into this moment to support us in this practice of forgiveness.
We ask for these guides to come in now.
We ask for our angels to come in now to support us in this practice of forgiveness on the road to full and complete self-love and we thank these divine beings for their presence.
Know that you are not alone ever.
You are co-creating your life in this universe with all other beings and with the support of divine guidance,
Of divine channels,
Of angels and of immense love which is the foundation of everything in the universe.
So just relaxing into your seated position,
Make sure your back is straight.
You might want to reach up your hands into laser fingers,
Stretch up,
Breathing in and then bring the hands to the front,
Bend the back a little and release,
Breathing out.
You might want to do a few circles of the neck,
A few head circles clockwise,
Then anti-clockwise.
You might want to do a little twist around to the right,
Putting your right hand on your left knee,
Your left hand around the right side of your back,
Twist around the back and come back around and twist around to the other side,
Left hand on your right knee,
Right hand on the left side of your back and coming back to centre.
Just taking a few deep breaths,
Letting the breath come all the way down,
Past the throat chakra,
Down into the heart and all the way down into the solar plexus,
Down to the root chakra.
Just feeling that expansion there and then slowly letting go.
So just bringing to mind yourself,
Let's say five years old,
Bringing to mind an image of yourself at five years old in front of you,
Recognising your innocence,
Recognising childlike nature of your small being at this time,
Recognising joyfulness,
Recognising any difficulties that this little five-year-old may have had.
And opening up to full and complete forgiveness to the five-year-old self or anything that five-year-old self may have done,
Said,
Behaved,
Any ways that that five-year-old self may be regretted.
That five-year-old was just a child doing their best to engage with the world,
Relate to others,
Not knowing too much,
Living from the heart.
Breathing in a full and deep forgiveness for anything around that five-year-old self that may need forgiving.
I fully and completely forgive my five-year-old self for anything and everything and I open up to fully and completely loving that five-year-old self in front of me here today.
Flowing full and complete acceptance to that beautiful child that I once was.
With the support of my guides and my angels,
I flow full and complete forgiveness,
Full and complete loving acceptance to that five-year-old child.
As you do that,
Just opening up the hands,
Imagining two streams of gold and light coming into your hands,
Running up your arms into your head and the gold and light slowly coming down past the throat chakra into the heart,
Expanding at the heart and coming down through the solar plexus,
Through the second chakra,
Into the root chakra,
Down through the legs until you're completely full with a glowing golden light.
And then bringing the image of yourself as a 15-year-old in front of you.
Just letting that image settle,
Breathing in deeply as you recognise that 15-year-old self.
Letting the breath expand through the throat chakra,
Through the chest,
Expand into the chest,
Slowly coming all the way down into the root and breathing it out all the way up the back,
Out the head.
Just remembering what it was like to be 15,
Probably quite a lot more complicated than being five.
Remembering all the challenges you may have had,
Remembering whatever confusion you may have felt at this time,
Coming into adolescence,
Puberty,
Body changing,
Ideas changing,
Mind changing,
Everything in flux.
Remember also the joyfulness,
The happiness you experienced,
As well as any sadness,
Disappointments.
I'm just taking a few deep breaths and with the breath out,
Flowing your full and complete forgiveness to that 15-year-old self for anything that you may be still holding any kinds of regrets or disappointment or pain around I flow full and complete forgiveness to my 15-year-old self for anything and everything and I give my full and complete love and acceptance to my 15-year-old self.
With the support of my spirit guides,
My guardian angels,
I feel full and complete flowing love and acceptance to my 15-year-old self in front of me.
Then again opening up the palms and receiving this time a bright yellow light in,
Coming in through the palms of the hand,
Streaming all the way up the arms,
Coming through the head,
Coming all the way down through the body past the throat chakra,
Into the heart expanding at the heart and coming down into the solar plexus and down through the second and the root chakra,
Down into the legs and now you are filled with a bright yellow light.
As you breathe out,
Breathe out this energy all the way up the back,
Out the crown chakra and imagine all the light showering you in a shower of bright yellow light coming all around your body.
Taking a few more deep breaths.
Coming now into the present day.
As you're breathing in just think about anything you still would like to,
Still need forgiveness around for yourself right now in the presence.
Any past thoughts,
Speech or actions that you may still be feeling any sense of regret or disappointment,
Shame or pain around,
Just bringing any of those to the surface.
And as we breathe in,
Breathing in full and complete forgiveness for ourselves today in the present moment,
For absolutely everything that we may still be feeling any kind of regret,
Shame or disappointment around.
Knowing that just like our five-year-old self and our 15 year old self,
We are always doing the best that we can with all of the information that we have at the time,
With the tools and methods,
The education that we have at the time.
We are always doing the best that we can.
Knowing this,
Asking the spirit guides to be here for us,
Supporting us in this process.
We breathe in,
We breathe out flowing complete and utter forgiveness to ourselves today for everything and anything that we may still recognise that we're holding any kind of regret or disappointment or pain around.
We ask for this to release through the power of our forgiveness and our love.
And we open up the hands to receive a bright green light as we breathe in,
Coming in through the palms of our hands,
Bright shining fluorescent green light,
Coming all the way up the arms,
Mixing into the head,
Stirring around in the head,
Coming slowly down through the throat chakra,
Down into the heart,
Bright green light,
Expanding as you breathe in,
Expanding the heart and then slowly travelling down through the bottom three chakras,
Expanding at the base chakra,
The pelvis and slowly coming all the way down into the legs,
Down into the feet,
Down into the toes and then as you're breathing out,
Flowing all of this green light up through the spine,
All the way up and out through the crown chakra and just imagine a big shower of green light coming all the way around you,
Encircling you like a fountain out the top of your head.
This is a green light of forgiveness for yourself in the present day,
Total and complete forgiveness for everything,
Allowing you now to breathe in,
Deep into your heart centre,
Expanding at the heart and flowing out complete self-love and self-acceptance to yourself today,
Right now,
In this very moment.
Just bringing the hands together at the heart centre,
Taking a deep breath in,
Deep breath out,
Another breath in and we'll just finish with an Aum.

Bowing the heads to the hands,
Touching with the thumbs,
The third eye,
May I be open to wisdom,
Touching with the thumbs,
The lips,
May I speak only the truth in love,
Touching with the thumbs,
The throat chakra,
May my communication be open and pure and touching with the thumbs,
The heart,
May my heart be open to receive and to give love with all beings.
Just giving thanks to the presence of our spirit guides and our divine supporters,
Our angels for being here with us today in this forgiveness practice.
