This 3-day course is a great opportunity to boost your motivation. What we will do in this course is implement techniques proven by research to boost our motivation. We will do a visualization with inquiry questions about our lack of motivation, focus on gratitude, do a body scan with an energizing meditation, and set intentions with mindful breathing. In the lessons, I will provide you with tips and (homework) exercises. The course classroom is the perfect place to share your experiences and motivations. You can also ask me a question and I will make sure to answer it to the best of my ability.

Lektion 1
Intrinsic Vs External Motivation
On Day 1 of the motivation course, participants will delve into the concepts of intrinsic and external motivation. Dr. Vermeer will illuminate the subtle yet profound differences between these two forces that drive human behavior. You will gain a deep understanding of how intrinsic motivation, stemming from personal passion and fulfillment, differs from external motivators, such as rewards or societal expectations. More importantly, does your motivation have a critical tone? Then we will think about sustainable habits and implementation intentions, exploring strategies to cultivate positive behaviors that align with one's intrinsic motivations.
Lektion 2
Body Scan And Energizing Meditation
This session embarks on the body and what we are feeling. By doing a body scan for relaxation we ease into our motivation building habit by feeling our emotions. Then we will move into an energy visualization to boost our levels and feel more energetic. I will also provide you with two exercises to do outside of this course in order to keep motivated. Sources uploaded in course classroom. Grab a blanket if you need to because for this track we will lay down.
Lektion 3
Reflection And Setting (New) Intentions And Mindful Breathing
In day 3, we will become aware of our breathe. A breathe in for motivation and out breath for releasing. Followed by setting new intentions to reach our goal with a brief visualization. We will close with affirmations. Feel free to come back to this course for re-setting your intentions.
