Find your way into a position that's relaxing and receptive,
Perhaps lying down with your hands by your sides facing up or seated in a chair on a cushion.
Comfortably,
Attentively,
And softly.
Close your eyes if you haven't already or let them gaze softly at the floor.
Relaxing any parts of your body that feel tense or constricted with your breath.
Finding every deep inhale and elongated exhale through your body.
Soothing yourself from the inside out.
Prepare to journey not physically in the world but in your imagination and through your intuition in your inner space in the psychic realm.
Imagine that you have a vehicle,
Whether it's a boat on the water,
A car,
Maybe even you take a plane or a bicycle.
Find your way into this vehicle and journeying through the terrain on your way to a very special home.
Just notice the sights and sounds and your own inner feelings as you start to move toward this home.
Just take a little time to journey there.
And then imagine you've arrived,
You land,
You park,
You set the bike down,
Whichever method of transportation you took,
Thanking that vehicle for carrying you thus far.
And now arriving at the pathway to a magnificent,
Beautiful,
Serene home that's a sacred,
Spacious sanctuary unlike any that you've ever seen.
Whatever the architecture of this home,
It makes you feel like it's your home,
Like you've arrived,
Like you're welcome.
It's inviting and it's beautiful.
So take this time to notice the details of the exterior of this home.
What color are the exterior walls?
What are the windows like?
What is the path and the doorway?
Is there a garden or a front yard and what is the surrounding area of this home?
Is it by a beach,
In a forest,
In a city?
Then as you approach the front door,
You go to grab the knocker to announce your presence,
But as you do so,
The door swings wide open and you're met with a smile and the presence of your higher self.
This one is the embodiment of all your wisdom and your truth,
All your knowing and is a gracious magnanimous presence who welcomes you to their home.
This higher self helps you get comfortable,
Offers you a drink of your choice and helps you take a seat somewhere in this beautiful interior of the home.
So look around now too and notice what decor,
Decorations,
What the space is,
How high are the ceilings,
How bright is the light in the room?
Is it day,
Night,
Afternoon?
And as you settle into a comfortable seat facing your higher self,
You just take in their presence once more,
Just really appreciating how gotten you feel,
How known,
How received and how assured you are in this being's presence.
This being is not one to be jealous of or put on a pedestal or have to live into tomorrow,
But they are a guide.
They are the one who's always been with you and will always be a companion on your journey.
So as you connect with your higher self,
Find maybe a question that has been on your heart,
Something you are curious about,
Maybe it's been concerning you,
Something you'd like to hear some wisdom about,
Some guidance and just see yourself sharing the situation or concern or challenge with your higher self,
Asking a question of them about what you can do or be or need to know moving forward.
Let yourself see them taking in your question with sincerity and receiving not just the words you've said,
But the feeling of what you're communicating.
And with patience and time,
They take in what you've said.
And in a moment or two as you breathe together,
Your higher self replies.
They give you an answer,
It could be simple,
It could be a gesture or a phrase,
And just take a moment now to hear what it is that your higher self is wanting you to know.
And repeat back to yourself what they've said or shared and really receive it,
Allow yourself to take in its meaning to you.
What would be different,
What would change in life if you really got this,
If you really lived it?
Who would you be and what would you feel?
What if you were a finder,
Not just a seeker?
And you could find these answers every time you asked.
Your higher self assures you that they're there for you and on any time that you feel like you need support,
You can reach out in this way.
And just thank your higher self for this message,
For this communication today.
And see how they respond to your appreciation.
And as you are shifting and feeling ready to move on,
The higher self beckons you and says actually there's someone else I'd like you to meet today who lives in this home,
Who lives in you.
And from behind the chair that the higher self was sitting in or from behind their back peeks out,
A small child.
This small child is your core self,
Your inner child.
There can be many versions of your child and some of them we know may be hurt through life's vicissitudes.
This particular child is a young,
Pure version of you who has an eagerness and a love and a trust.
Maybe you feel like you've lost or that it's been foreign to you lately or that you love to connect with and want to connect with even more.
So just noticing how old this little child is,
This version of you,
Who you've maybe been in your life but maybe is the spirit of everything that's possible inside you.
And just connecting with how they appear,
What they look like,
What they're wearing and how do you greet each other.
How do you feel when you encounter this small self who's really big of heart,
Who has their own wisdom even at a young age,
Who carries every memory you've yet to make.
And how does the child respond to you?
Do they seem to recognize you?
Do they feel comfortable?
Do they feel shy?
Nothing is right or wrong in this visualization but just allow yourself to see how you greet each other and say hello.
And then spontaneously the child,
Maybe smiling,
Reaches into their pockets or behind their back where they've been hiding something and they pull out a gift for you.
It could be wrapped,
It could be plain right there in their hands but see if you receive it and what it is that they have offered you today.
It may be clear right away or it may be shifting forms,
It's all okay just allowing yourself to receive this gift from your child,
Thanking them for giving it to you.
And if it means something to you,
Just reflecting on what this gift could be to you and if it's baffling or mysterious just allowing yourself to be and bask in that mystery of why this particular object or phrase or gesture that the child has shared.
Even if it is an object the child has given you or even if it's a gesture or words or a painting or something like that,
See where you want to keep it right now.
Where do you put this precious gem?
And as you receive it and thank the child,
You're feeling moved and you realize that you want to give something to this child too.
This could be a gesture like a hug,
It could be a phrase or encouraging message like you got from your higher self that you want the child to know or it could be an object that you have ready to offer this child.
So when you're ready,
See what you give to them and how they receive it in turn.
Just watch their face as they take in what you've given them.
Maybe they want to thank you in some way and just receive the delight of giving.
How does it make you feel to be able to offer something too?
And closing that moment with another bow of appreciation,
Last but not least your higher self nods to someone at the door and brings your attention to the last person that you'll meet today who is your future self.
Your self 10 years from now who has arrived at the doorstep of this home.
They are different than your higher self.
Your higher self is always with you,
Has been,
Will be,
Is here,
Is the embodiment of your spirit and your soul and your depth and your height.
Your future self is who you imagine you'll become in 10 years time.
And so just looking at this person who's arrived,
Just notice how they come into the space and what qualities they have.
Just the state of being that they have cultivated or that they show up with.
And your future self comes not just alone but with their world.
So just hearing from them or seeing intuitively what they do,
How do they spend their time?
What are the activities that they are engaged in in their life?
What's important to them?
What matters most still 10 years later or instead 10 years later?
What has your future self accomplished in these 10 years or created?
What have they offered life and what have they received from life?
What relationships have they nurtured or started?
How have they met the unknowns of life?
And as you get to know this future self and they come closer,
How do you feel toward your future self?
Not making it right or wrong,
Good or bad,
Just noticing whatever feelings arise in relation to this future self.
And then your higher self greets your future self too and gives some encouragement or some appreciation of this future self.
Notice how your future self responds to you and to your higher self and to the child who has come up to greet this future self.
How do they all interact and take a moment now to see that scene play out?
Is there anything that you of today would wish for your future self?
Something that you see,
That you appreciate and are looking forward to or something that you don't see that you would like to be there?
And how can you trust yourself now to continue to take steps and grow into this future self by connecting with the higher self and your inner child and letting their wisdom guide you so that you shape your future together?
Is there anything that you want to let go of today?
Something that's no longer been of service that you can shed so that you can start to walk the path towards the one that you are becoming?
See yourself letting go of that now.
And lastly,
What can you entrust to your higher self?
What can you give away,
Give up that you've been holding on too tightly,
Offering it so that you can be assured that whatever it is will be met with grace in time?
What do you place in the higher self's care?
Entrusting that they can hold it for you and with you.
Simply giving gratitude to each of the ones you've met today,
The higher self,
The child and the future self all in the home.
See yourselves connecting and closing up this particular moment in whatever way feels right to you,
Whether it's a little bow to each other,
Some gratitude or hugs all around.
Just feeling some reverence for what has transpired between you and saying goodbye to each for now knowing that you can all connect whenever you like,
Thanking your future self and sending them on their way with a smile.
Thanking the child and maybe letting it know how you commit to connecting with it in the future or what you would like to do to honor the moment that has transpired between you today.
And as you do so,
Seeing the child take their leave as well.
And then lastly,
Acknowledging the higher self,
Appreciating their message and remembering that you'll keep it close as well as the gift from the child,
Knowing that you've tucked these away for when you need them.
And as the higher self also takes leave,
You are on your own in this home again,
Knowing that your true home is within.
And you can start to appreciate everything that's in this home,
This sanctuary.
And then saying your own goodbye for now to this space,
Crossing the threshold of the door and closing it behind you and walking back down the path that you came.
Noticing how you feel,
What your posture and gait is like as you make your way back into the vehicle that you came in.
Take your journey all the way back to the new present.
And when you arrive here,
Welcoming yourself back with a little movement,
Maybe wiggling the fingers and toes or in a few breaths,
Beginning to open the eyes and let in your surroundings.
Taking three deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
And after your third breath,
Placing your left hand on your heart and your right hand on top of it,
And maybe with a smile or maybe with a soft gaze,
Dropping into your heart and setting an intention from this time.
What's one way you'd like to be or feel that you can carry forth in your day as a result of this experience?
And you can say this feeling with an I am so that you're embodying it already,
Not waiting for it to happen,
But knowing that it's already here in the very seed of your intention.
And once you've affirmed what it is that's true for you right now,
Take your time to lower your hands back down and return to your day enjoying every moment of it.
