We're constantly communicating energetically with those around us. Sometimes we take on the energy of others. This can leave us feeling dysregulated, anxious, confused, or physically drained. In this reiki meditation, we use a "salad spinner" visualization to clear the chakras, releasing any energy that is not supportive, and then finish it off with a bubble of protection that deflects unwanted energy throughout the day. A must-have for empaths! My sweet baby angel dog was sitting on my lap when I recorded this track (a few weeks before she passed) and you may feel her balancing energy. Feel supported by the surface beneath you.

Get out any last movements.

Maybe scrunch up your face.

Engage the muscles and then let it go.

And you can do the same maybe with one arm at a time.

And then one leg at a time.

And then relaxing in and bring our focus to our breath.

And inhaling together to a count of four.

Inhale.

One.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Exhale.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

Inhale.

One.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Exhale.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

Inhale.

One.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Exhale.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

And continue that breath cycle on your own.

Feeling the breath coming through the nose.

And then releasing it back out through the nose.

If you'd like to set an intention or invite in any support,

You can do that now.

One intention that I like to work with is trusting the flow of life.

Trusting that we are supported.

That we are receiving guidance all the time.

If there is an ancestor,

A deity,

An angel,

Or some other supportive figure,

You can also invite them to be here with you.

I'm going to start working through the chakras.

So just working to clear and release any energy that doesn't belong to us,

Anything that is weighing us down.

So bring the awareness to the crown of your head.

And you might imagine sort of a white marble.

It can be however big or as small as the way that you see it.

You can also just rest your attention on the crown of your head.

And start to send that breath to the crown of your head.

And then each time you inhale,

Imagine the light getting a little bit brighter.

And each time you exhale,

Imagine it spinning in a circle a little bit faster.

And then as you exhale,

Imagine that it's spinning in a circle a little bit faster.

And then as you exhale,

Imagine that it's spinning in a circle a little bit faster.

And actually sort of releasing liquid,

Kind of like a salad spinner.

It's kind of just flinging liquid out.

And it's just releasing.

So inhale,

A white light getting brighter at the crown of your head.

And on the exhale,

Imagine it spinning and spinning.

And imagine the light spreading out even more like it's radiating out around your body a couple of feet in each direction.

It's kind of creating a halo shape.

And we'll move down to the third eye,

So the center between your eyebrows and in the very center of your head.

And there,

Imagining a dark purple or dark blue light as you inhale.

And there,

Imagining a dark purple or dark blue light as you inhale.

Make the light brighter.

As you exhale,

Imagine it spinning,

Flinging off liquid,

Releasing that weight.

Inhale,

Making the light brighter and brighter.

And on the exhale,

Spreading the light through the room.

So it's kind of creating this horizontal light that radiates out a couple of feet in each direction.

And bring the awareness down to the center of the throat,

To the back of the neck.

And from there,

Imagining a light blue light as you inhale.

Imagine the light getting brighter,

More blue,

More clear.

As you exhale,

Imagine the liquid,

The weight,

The dust getting flung off in every direction.

Bring your awareness down to your chest,

To the center of your heart.

And imagine a green light.

Inhale,

Making the light brighter and brighter.

And exhale,

Letting it spin,

Letting it release.

And starting to imagine that green light radiating out,

Spreading a couple of feet around you in each direction.

And come down to the solar plexus.

So just under the ribs,

And then down to the solar plexus.

And then,

As you exhale,

Imagine a light blue light as you inhale.

The upper belly,

All the way to the middle of the back.

And imagining a yellow light.

As you inhale,

Imagine it getting brighter,

More clear.

And as you exhale,

Imagine it releasing liquid,

Releasing weight,

Releasing dust.

And using the power of your imagination,

Start to spread that light out all around you.

Filling up the room.

And come down to your sacral chakra,

The low belly,

Sacrum bone.

Imagine an orange light.

As you inhale,

Turn the light up,

All the way up to the brightest it can be.

And as you exhale,

Imagine it spinning,

Releasing that liquid.

And then imagine that orange light spreading out.

Use your imagination to spread it out a couple of feet in each direction,

Radiating that orange light all around your body.

And come down to the root,

To a red light around the tailbone.

As you inhale,

Turning up the brightness.

And as you exhale,

Flinging and releasing the weight as it spins in a circle.

And then spreading that light out all around you.

Feeling or imagining or visualizing it.

And then as you exhale,

Turning the light up,

All the way up to your sacral chakra.

Spreading out a few feet away from you in every direction.

Then on your next inhale,

Start to travel back up your spine through each chakra.

From the root,

Through the sacral,

Through solar plexus,

The heart.

Slow inhale up through the throat,

The middle of the head,

Up to the crown.

And as you exhale,

Imagine the air around you is cleared out and creating a safe bubble that can protect you and preserve your energy.

And then start to come back to the space that you're in.

Find some movement in your fingers,

In your toes.

And when you're ready,

You can blink your eyes open.
