Hello and welcome.
I'm Danielle Street and I'm so grateful that you are here.
In this practice,
I will guide you through 5 minutes to presence,
A moment to be.
Allow this meditation to be a sacred pause to nourish your spirit,
Calm your nervous system and gently bring you back to the present moment,
Feeling refreshed,
Grounded and at peace,
Anytime in your busy day.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable position.
I invite you to close your eyes or gently soften your gaze.
Take a gentle breath in through your nose.
Notice the coolness of the air,
Expanding your belly.
Slowly exhale through your mouth,
Letting it go with a soft sigh.
Breathe in,
Belly rise and hold.
And slowly breathing out,
Returning to your normal rhythm of breathing.
Feel your body softening with each breath.
Allow yourself to become more present in this moment,
Anchoring you and return to yourself.
Visualise or feel roots growing down deep into Mother Earth.
Feel her supporting you,
Your sacred space.
Now visualise or imagine that beautiful energy coming back up through the ground as a white or golden light,
Moving all the way up through your body to the top of your head.
I invite you to place your hands on your heart.
Feel the connection,
Feel the rhythm of your heart beating.
Let yourself soften and open into presence.
The quiet beauty of simply being.
And find comfort in the stillness around you.
Let this grounding energy continue to hold you.
As you rest in this blissful feeling of presence,
Take a moment to set an intention.
To reconnect to this feeling of being grounded and present and completely at ease at any time that you feel you need to return to this meditation and take a moment just for you.
Now slowly start to feel into your body,
Taking a long slow breath in and out.
You are fully here,
You are fully held and you are home.
