In this practice I will guide you through this power nap meditation designed to help you relax,
Restore balance,
Feel refreshed,
Grounded and at peace.
At the end of this practice you will hear my voice,
Knowing that it's time to come back to the room and become fully present in the moment,
Ready to resume your day with clarity and renewed energy.
Let's begin.
I invite you to find a quiet comfortable space where you can sit or lie down.
I invite you to gently close your eyes,
Take a moment to feel into your body,
Feeling fully supported.
Allow yourself to get comfy and cosy.
Take a deep,
Soothing breath in.
As you exhale,
This moment is just beginning.
For you.
With every breath,
Feel your connection to Mother Earth.
Holding you with loving arms.
As you settle into your sacred time out,
Start to gently breathe in,
And breathing out.
Letting go of any worries.
Letting go of anxiety.
And letting go of any overwhelm.
As you breathe,
Feel your body totally relaxing.
Imagining a white and blue light just above the top of your head,
Entering your crown chakra.
Allow your muscles to relax.
Moving ever so slowly down to your third eye.
Located between your eyes.
And imagine a soft indigo light of the deepest blue.
Let go and relax.
Relax your cheeks,
Your teeth.
Maybe you have been clenching your jaw today.
Let your tongue and jaw relax.
As you deepen and soften.
And let go with a sigh.
Breathe into that feeling of deep relaxation.
Feel the tight muscles around your neck.
Your neck has been supporting your head all day.
Start to relax.
Soften your neck and your throat chakra.
Imagining a soft light as blue as the sky on a clear day.
Allow yourself to drop deeper into relaxation.
Now gently shrug or roll your shoulders.
Feel your shoulders start to unwind and release tight knots.
Let go of any tension you may have been holding there.
And breathe.
Rest and rejuvenate.
Now focus on your upper body.
Your heart chakra surrounded by peaceful emerald green light.
Let that light flow your upper back and ribs.
Start to relax and soften.
Releasing any tension.
Drop down even further as you feel your arms.
Hands and fingertips relaxing.
Feel that gentle flowing energy like a river flowing downward to your solar plexus.
Just below your ribcage.
You're now surrounded by gentle yellow light.
Warming your body like the morning sun.
Helping you melt even further into this rest and rejuvenation.
Keep relaxing down,
Down,
Down to your sacral.
Just below your belly button.
Softening and relaxing.
Breathe into a ball of orange light.
The colour of an afternoon sunset.
Imagine that gentle river of light is still flowing down to your base or ridge chakra.
Located at the base of your spine.
Breathe into a comforting ruby red light that surrounds you.
Allow your hips and spine to loosen up.
With ease.
Your body feels lighter.
Your breathing is slower.
Peaceful.
You are in complete relaxation.
You have let go of any tightness that you may have felt.
Your ankles and down to your feet and the tips of your toes.
Let it all go and just relax.
Continue your soft rhythmic breathing.
The gift of drifting into the pleasure of rest and rejuvenation.
Slowly start to feel your body.
Taking a long,
Slow breath in and a long,
Slow breath out.
Slowly start to wake up from this beautiful,
Restful and refreshing nap.
You might like to give your whole body a stretch.
And allow yourself a moment to just lie still and be grateful for this moment.
Breathe in gratitude.
Breathe in self love.
Breathe in self worth.
And believe in the beautiful,
Powerful and incredible person that you are.
And the difference you make to yourself and others every single day.
