Can I remind you of something today?
You are allowed to take up space.
I know this sounds simple,
But so many of us learn the opposite.
We learn to be quiet.
Not to be too much.
Not to need too much.
Not to take up too much room.
Emotionally,
Physically,
Energetically.
We learn to shrink ourselves so others feel comfortable.
And without even noticing,
We start making ourselves smaller.
We hold back our opinions,
Our needs,
Our feelings,
Our presence.
We apologize for existing,
For asking,
For resting,
For wanting more.
But here's the truth.
You didn't come here to disappear.
You didn't come here to make yourself smaller,
So life feels easier for others.
You came here to be you,
Fully.
With your emotions,
With your needs,
With your energy.
Taking up space doesn't mean being loud.
It doesn't mean overpowering others.
It doesn't mean pushing.
It simply means you stop shrinking.
It means you let your body relax.
Your chest open.
Your breath deepen.
It means you allow yourself to be seen.
To be felt.
To be here.
You belong here.
Just as much as anyone else.
And the moment you stop fighting that,
The moment you let yourself exist without apology,
Something softens inside.
So today,
Notice where you are holding back.
And then,
Give yourself permission to take up the space you already deserve.
You don't need to earn that.
You don't need to justify it.
You are allowed to be here.
Fully.
