Let's begin with a deep breath in through the nose.
Hold it for a moment and exhale slowly through the mouth.
As you breathe imagine letting go of any stress or tension lingering from yesterday.
Now allow your breath to settle into a natural rhythm.
Bring your awareness to your shoulders.
Notice if you're holding tension there and with your next exhale let your shoulders soften and drop.
Bring your focus to your jaw.
If it's clenched allow it to loosen,
Your lips parting slightly,
Feeling your body becoming lighter with each breath.
Now imagine a gentle wave of calm washing over you.
It starts at the top of your head,
Flowing down your face,
Your neck,
Your chest,
All the way to your toes.
With every breath this wave carries away any stress or heaviness,
Leaving only peace and ease.
Silently repeat these words to yourself.
I release what I cannot control.
I welcome calm and clarity.
I am ready to embrace this day with ease and grace.
Take one final deep breath in and as you exhale feel yourself fully grounded and present.
Know that no matter what the day holds you have this moment of peace within you.
