Welcome to this session.
We'll be doing a breath work practice for surrendering parenting stress.
Bring yourself into a comfortable position and gently close your eyes.
Begin to focus on your breath.
Taking a slow,
Deep inhale.
A slow,
Full exhale.
Releasing tension from your body.
Now as you breathe in,
Imagine breathing in peace and calm.
As you breathe out,
Imagine letting go of any stress or anxiety related to your parenting.
Breathing in,
Sensing deep peace and calm.
And breathing out to release any parenting stress,
Anxiety or tension.
With every inhale,
Bringing in surrender.
Allowing your body and mind to release any need to control or manage things.
And with each exhale,
Feeling a sense of release.
Handing over any parenting stress to the flow of life.
Breathing in trust.
Breathing out tension.
And feeling your nervous system calm as you continue to breathe slowly and deeply.
Allowing the stress of parenting to dissipate.
And trusting that all is unfolding as it should.
As you're ready,
Begin to bring yourself back.
Taking an in-breath of presence and an out-breath of presence.
Beginning to slowly move your body and mindfully transition back into your day.
Thank you for your practice.
