Are you ready to lay down and meditate with Kari?
Be still and quiet in your bed.
Allow the rest of the world to start to fade into the background as you close your eyes and settle in to your body.
Relaxing your shoulders down into the pillow.
Let your head get heavy.
Adjust your body if it needs any shifts or changes.
Soften your spine.
Let your legs get heavy.
Let your arms get heavy.
So that you're ready to go on a journey.
Imagine that you're no longer you.
What if in just a few moments you open your eyes,
You're actually a wolf.
The sun is going down.
As you look around you see you're surrounded by trees.
Tall.
Dark.
Trees.
You're hungry.
The rest of your pack is there with you and it's time to go on a hunt.
Start to run through the forest.
Something is off in the distance.
You can smell it.
The other wolves are running alongside you.
Imagine what it feels like to be a wolf running through the forest.
The energy that you're putting out is only about first gear right now.
You're running but you're not running to full capacity.
As a wolf you can reach up to 35 miles an hour if you want to.
Right now you're just eliminating the distance between you and what you can smell.
The air feels cold coming through your lung,
Nostrils,
Upper nose and down into your lungs.
You can feel the adrenaline and the blood rushing through your body.
Your feet are barely touching the ground.
You can hear all the other wolves running next to you.
You're in the front.
You're the alpha.
You're leading the pack today.
They're all with you as a team,
Together as one.
That's how you travel.
You're rarely alone.
You always have.
Your brothers and sisters by your side.
You start to pick up speed.
Running faster now.
You're running so fast now that it feels like you're just gliding through the air.
The smell of dinner is stronger.
The scent is stronger.
And then you spot it.
You're prey.
Your pack starts to communicate with each other.
You all instinctively know to circle.
And then when the time is right,
To attack and devour.
Everything is done very fast and precise.
You all feed as the moon starts to come up in the sky.
Looking down from the moon's perspective,
She can see silvery lights.
Many different wolf eyes reflecting back at her.
And then when the feed is done,
It's time to rest.
You all hunker down together.
You found a safe place.
Everyone lays with each other.
A force to be reckoned with.
You close your eyes and feel your heartbeat starting to slow down.
The adrenaline is no longer running through your body.
Now,
Your tummy is full.
Your paws feel heavy and tired now that you've stopped.
The muscles in your legs.
Strong thigh muscles relax.
Your face and all of your sharp teeth soften and relax.
You can hear the other wolves breathing around you.
Everyone's scent is familiar and reassuring.
You can tell that you're all safe there in the den together.
So you can rest.
It's safe to rest.
You're warm and comfortable.
Sheltered from any cold or harsh breezes running through the forest.
Your breathing slows even more.
And you can feel the blood running through your wolf heart.
You're so powerful and strong.
Feels good to be a wolf.
Feels good to be part of a pack.
It feels even better to be the alpha of the pack.
You close your eyes to rest even deeper into the forest below your body.
You can smell the foliage.
The smell of dirt and damp leaves on the forest floor.
Sometimes you hear twigs crack and break,
But you can tell it's just something small.
A rabbit or a mole.
Feels good to just lay.
Let your body recoup.
Let your energy levels rise once again for when you all get ready to go on the hunt for your next prey.
But for now,
You all rest.
There is one.
In the wolf pack.
The end.
