Are you ready to meditate with Kori?
Make sure you're laying down in a comfortable position in your big soft bed.
Check that the lights are just right.
Everything feels good in your bedroom.
Start by just taking a big deep breath.
See if you can breathe all the way down to the bottom of your tummy and then breathe it all out.
Again,
Take a big deep breath all the way down to the base of your tummy so your tummy feels like a big balloon.
And then just breathe it out and let it go.
This is a really good way to relax your body and let go of your day.
Allow yourself to breathe normal now,
Just nice and slow.
See if you can stay very,
Very still.
So still and quiet.
Close your eyes if you haven't done so already.
And imagine that you're not in your bed at all.
Imagine that you're laying on a big white fluffy cloud in the sky.
Imagine that instead of it being daytime,
It's a nighttime sky.
And your cloud is just bobbing around in the sky.
You can see the big full moon shining down on you.
And the stars,
So many stars in the sky.
The cloud that you're laying on is like a big giant marshmallow.
It's like the softest bed you've ever laid on.
And you can feel your body sinking deeper into the cloud.
And its fluffiness and softness seems to move around and cover you all over your body.
So you're laying on a cloud and at the same time you're laying inside of the cloud,
All protected and warm and safe.
Just staring at the stars and looking at the big full moon.
As you're closer to the moon floating on your marshmallow cloud,
You can see all the different shades and shapes.
You can clearly see the bunny rabbit shape.
Its big long ears and what looks like its body right there on the face of the moon.
It's a very special night.
It's New Year's Eve.
Tomorrow will be New Year's Day.
The beginning of a whole new year.
365 days for you to do whatever you want to do.
As you lay on your cloud,
You start to think about some of the things you'd like to do.
Maybe you'd like to fly more and go on a big airplane across the sky.
Maybe you'd like to learn how to ride a bike.
Maybe one of the things you want to do in your new year is go on a trampoline and bounce as high as you can doing somersaults and backflips and all different tricks.
This year would be really cool if you grew 3 inches taller.
Can you imagine?
Or maybe you want to save so you have lots of money in your piggy bank.
Maybe one of your New Year's resolutions is to make more friends.
Lots of friends.
To have at least 10 friends.
That could be your goal.
What if you want to learn to swim?
And then you could go to the beach and swim with the dolphins.
Or maybe swim with the mermaids.
Or maybe you want to be a mermaid.
What if your New Year's resolution was to be a nicer person?
So that everyone that you spent time with,
You always tried your best to be nice and kind.
Maybe your New Year's resolution is to not lie.
To always be honest.
Always be very very honest and always tell the truth.
You might have a wish for someone else that you love.
Maybe it's a wish for your grandma.
Or for your mom or your dad or your brothers or sisters.
Maybe your New Year's resolution is all for someone else.
What if next year you decided that you would help people in need?
Maybe once a month or once every couple of months you went to a food bank or the pound or somewhere where you could help animals or people.
But aren't that fortunate?
That might be a nice resolution.
Maybe your resolution is to read more books and get smarter.
Or to work out and get stronger.
What would you want to do next year?
If you had to think of three things that you'd like to happen in your 365 days,
What would those three things be?
Have a little think about it.
What would your three things be?
Maybe you want to learn to ski or snowboard and do bunny jumps.
Maybe you're a surfer and you want to learn to ride the waves better.
Maybe your New Year's resolution is to help more with taking care of your animals.
If you have dogs or cats or guinea pigs or rats.
Maybe it's time to step up and take better care of them.
So many possibilities.
So many ways you could grow and change.
So many things you could do to be a better person or even greater than what you already are.
That would be pretty cool,
Right?

What would you do with this whole new year ahead of you?
As you fall to sleep and relax your body,
Maybe just think about what you would like to achieve.
As your body starts to get heavier and heavier,
Your feet relax.
Your legs get heavy and your muscles soften into the bed.
Your hands and your arms.
Your whole body relaxes deeper and deeper.
It's time to go to sleep on your big marshmallow cloud floating in the sky with the stars and the moon all around.
How cool would it be if everything that you want comes true?
Every wish that you want.
Every resolution.
Every hope and dream.
