Are you ready to meditate with Cori?

Lie down in your bed and get really comfortable.

Make sure that you try and stay as still as you possibly can.

So if you need to,

Get out all of your wiggles.

Just give your body a shake and then let your body settle into a nice still position.

Imagine that the only thing that's moving is your chest rising and falling as you breathe in and out.

I'm going to take you on a journey today.

A journey in your mind.

To be able to go there,

You need to let your body relax.

Take a nice big deep breath with me.

Breathing all the way down into your tummy.

When you breathe out,

See if you can breathe out all of the air as if you're emptying out your belly like a balloon.

The next breath,

When you breathe in,

See if you can make it even bigger.

Breathing in,

Puffing out your tummy and your chest.

And then as you breathe out,

Really breathe it all out so you're completely empty.

Now see if you can just find a nice gentle breathing pace.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Starting to relax into your bed.

Starting to let your body soften.

Close your eyes so that you can use your inner sight and imagine the journey in your mind.

First of all,

Imagine that you're in a field,

A field full of dandelions.

The dandelions are at that stage where you could pick them and blow them and make a wish.

The puffy stage where you can puff and blow them in the wind.

I'd like you to imagine that you're sat in the middle of that dandelion field and there's the wish sticks all around you.

And as far as your eyes can see,

There's hundreds and hundreds of puffy dandelions all around you.

To your left,

That's all you can see.

To your right,

Puffy dandelion flowers for as far as your eyes can see.

If you turn around and look behind you,

That's all you can see.

I'd like you to just lay down in the field.

So instead of being laid in your bed,

Pretend that the field is actually laid underneath you.

So instead of your mattress,

You're laying on the ground,

On the earth.

And now in your mind,

With your eyes closed,

Imagine that you're staring up at the sky and it's a big,

Beautiful,

Bright blue sky today.

There's big,

White,

Fluffy clouds up there,

All different shapes and sizes.

And there's a gentle breeze blowing through the air that's moving the clouds across the sky very slowly,

Making them change shape.

As you lie there,

You let your body completely relax and soften into the floor beneath you.

The sun is shining nice and bright,

So you feel warm and comfortable.

And as you lay there,

Really still and quiet,

You start to hear whispers,

As if the whispers are moving through and around the dandelion field.

Gentle whispers overlapping each other,

Soft voices saying things.

At first,

It just sounds like a mumble of mixed gentle voices.

But then the closer you listen,

The more you start to be able to distinguish different words,

Different sentences.

The first complete sentence you hear is,

I wish I had more friends.

Then you hear,

I wish I had a puppy.

I wish I was taller.

I wish more people liked me.

I wish I had a different teacher at school.

I wish,

I wish,

I wish.

Over and over,

You hear different wishes.

After a few moments of listening very carefully,

You realize you can hear the wishes,

The wishes of all the children,

Making wishes on dandelion fluffies,

Wishes from the past,

Wishes from right now in the moment,

Wishes from the future.

Because you're laid in the dandelion field,

You're completely connected to all of the fluffies around you.

And it's like you can hear the whispers of all the wishes that have been made,

Some from many,

Many years ago,

Some from just a few moments ago.

Like you can hear the wishes being made from all over the world.

The sound of the children's voices making wishes is very relaxing.

They're just gentle whispers blowing in the wind.

I wish I could beat everyone at spell test.

I wish my feet weren't so big.

I wish my mom and dad weren't getting divorced.

I wish I get everything on my Christmas list this year.

I wish I had those sneakers.

I'd feel really great in those sneakers.

I wish I had a best friend.

The wishes were blowing on the breeze from all different directions.

As you lay there,

Staring up at the sky,

Watching the clouds drift by,

Relaxing your body,

Listening to the dandelion field,

You look to your right and there in front of you is the perfect dandelion fluffy.

It seems just a little bit taller than all the others,

Bigger and fuller.

And you snip it at the base and hold it in front of your face.

Close in your eyes,

You think about your wish.

What do I want?

What do I want to come true?

What do I want to happen?

You take a big,

Deep breath and blow as hard as you can,

Blowing out the intention of your wish.

And you watch as the tiny little dandelion fluffs,

Each individually,

Float up and away in all different directions on the breeze.

Hundreds of little versions of your wish start in their journey to wherever they may land,

Wherever they may go.

On the wind,

You close your eyes and feel the sun on your body,

Warm like a blanket.

The sounds of the different wishes start to come to you once again.

I wish that there were no homeless people.

I wish that all animals were taken care of and safe.

I wish that people were kind to each other.

I wish that there was more love in the world.

I wish that people's dreams and wishes came true.

I wish that we could all be ourselves and be happy with who we are.

I wish that people all over the world could get along with each other and be friends.

I wish that people would have more compassion for each other.

I wish that the world was more peaceful.

I wish that people could be grateful for everything that they have and be happier.

The wishes just kept whispering all around you,

Coming in and out on the breeze as it passed by.

You're so comfortable there,

So relaxed and safe.

And the energy of the wishes all around you makes you feel connected to the field,

Connected to all the other children all over the world,

Making wishes just like you.

This makes you feel like you're not alone.

Feeling all warm and full of love inside,

You start to get sleepy,

Very,

Very tired.

The whispers of the wishes keep floating by,

The voices of children echoing all around you.

Sometimes you hear grown-up voices,

Adults making wishes,

That child part of themselves still believing and hoping that they'll come true.

Your body relaxes deeper and deeper into the earth beneath you,

More and more sleepy,

Sleepy,

So comfortable.

Eventually after a while you fall to sleep,

Listening to the dandelion wishes,

Feeling like they'll all come true somewhere in the world,

Making someone very happy over and over again.

The end.
