Heidi Cherry & Vaya Re-visit Rainbow Land

It has been a while since Heidi, Cherry, and Vaya have visited Rainbow Land with the Rainbow Kittens. In this story the cats re-visit and meet the kitten's mom and dad. They also have a very important job to do... to help bring balance back to Rainbow Land as it is being taken over by some very squishy friends!

Are you ready to lay down and be still and quiet?

Let go of your day,

Relax your body,

Make sure that you've got your comfy pajamas on and everything is good in the world.

It's time to listen to a story and chill out.

It had been a really really long time since Heidi,

Cherry and Veya had visited Rainbowland.

But it was time to go back.

Rainbowland was just a very special place.

A place full of different rainbow animals,

Especially rainbow kittens.

Lots of very cute rainbow kittens.

And that's one of the reasons the cats like to go there.

The other reason was that everyone there is very chilled out.

There's not so many rules as far as the girls play with girl toys,

Our boy toys and the boys play with boy toys and girls toys.

And it doesn't really matter.

Everyone just does kind of what they want to do there.

The cats really like Rainbowland.

When they got there this time,

They were really happy because they were going to meet the rainbow kittens,

Mom and dad.

When they got to the rainbow house,

Which was a rainbow shaped house,

It had every single color of the rainbow and it was shaped just like a rainbow.

You went in at one end and you could go all the way up to the top of the arch of the rainbow and then all the way back down.

You had to climb up on steps,

But when you got to the top,

You could slide down like a slide.

It was a really cool house.

At the top of the rainbow was where the rainbow kittens mom and dad's bedroom was.

The bedroom was absolutely enormous and it had all different play areas in it.

It had a bouncy castle in one side.

It had a sandpit in the other side,

A swimming pool in one corner.

So everyone could come and hang out and play in their room whenever they wanted to.

The rainbow kittens mom was called Santa Rainbow Kitty.

She was a very nice kitty,

Very polite and gentle and kind,

Just like a mummy would be.

She loved all of the kittens.

She loved all of the rainbow animals there in Rainbowland.

And the rainbow kitty's dad was Hulk Bear.

Cherry,

When she met Hulk Bear,

Said,

Hello,

Hello,

You're very,

Very,

Very,

Very greeny kind of looking and a little bit not like a rainbow.

Hulk Bear said,

Yes,

Well,

I'm Hulk Bear and I'm not a rainbow kitty.

Silly kitty,

Cherry said.

Well,

Yeah,

I know that's pretty obvious you're not a rainbow kitty.

But you're not what I expected.

You're like,

Oh,

You're really strong.

Look at him.

He looks really muscly and strong.

Wow.

OK.

All right.

I get it.

I can see why Santa Rainbow kitten likes you.

Yeah,

She probably thinks that you're really awesome.

Yeah,

I think Rainbow Rainbow Santa Rainbow Kitty is a very nice,

Sweet,

Mummy looking kitty.

And Dad looks quite scary.

Yeah,

It looks a little bit scary,

But it's all right.

I'm all right.

I'll get used to it.

Heidi said,

Well,

We're so excited to meet you both.

Thank you so much for inviting us back to Rainbowland.

We really like it here.

Everyone is kind and everyone gets along and no one is mean to each other.

It's just a really nice place.

They said,

Me thinks it's one of the best places we go to.

Me likes it because everyone is so,

Um,

Rain rainbow like and and so so nice.

And,

Um,

Yeah,

We noticed on the way in to Rainbow House that,

Um,

There was lots of new,

New kind of things here that weren't here before at Rainbowland.

Cherry said,

Yeah,

What's them round things?

What's all them round things that look like?

Some of them look like kitties.

Some of them don't look like kitties.

Some of them look like big around and some of them look like oblongy round and some of them look like really,

Really big and round.

Some of them.

Yeah,

What are they?

Because I don't think they were here last time.

One of the rainbow kittens said,

Oh,

Uh,

The squishmallows.

Squishmallows are our new friends here in Rainbowland.

They're absolutely everywhere.

We don't know how they are multiplying so fast,

But they are multiplying at a rapid rate.

And,

Um,

Rainbowland is kind of a little bit being taken over by the squishmallows.

Hulk bear said,

Yes,

We're not sure yet if this is a problem or not.

They're very,

Very kind and sweet little creatures.

They're so squishy and lovely and cute.

And when you hug them,

They're like the nicest,

Softest,

Huggy things you've ever hugged before.

But we don't understand why they are multiplying.

We don't understand why they're growing so fast,

Do we?

Santa Rainbow Kitty.

Santa Rainbow Kitty said,

No,

It's very alarming.

We,

Um,

All we have gathered so far is that they like to hug you.

And when they hug you,

They hug you very intensely.

And their hugs are almost a little bit smothercating.

They hug you so tightly and so intensely,

And it's so loving and sweet when they hug you that something strange happens afterwards.

And it's almost as if they multiply after they've hugged you.

And we've noticed that if you say nice things to them,

They instantly like pop out another one.

Like,

For example,

If you said,

You're so cute,

Pop!

In seconds,

There seems to be another Squishmallow right there in front of you.

Completely different to the one it popped out of.

It's a little bit of a mystery,

But like I said,

All we've gathered so far is that they like to be hugged very much,

Very,

Very intense hugs.

And they like compliments.

So if you give them compliments and you give them hugs,

We think that that might be the thing that's making them grow so much.

But we're still not 100%.

It would be very helpful if you cats could figure out while you're visiting this time,

Along with all the other rainbow kittens,

If you can find out what's going on.

Cherry said,

Mission accepted.

Right,

Right,

Let's gather.

We'll gather down at the bottom of the rainbow and we'll all have a meeting and we'll talk about how we're going to handle these Squishymallows.

I'm sure we can resist their hugs.

I'm sure when they try and hug me,

I'll be able to detect that they could possibly be thinking about multiplying and when they do hug me,

I will be able to defend myself and create a barrier.

Yes,

I'll create an energetic barrier that won't allow the Squishymallows to get anywhere close to me and I won't say anything nice to them.

I will actually not say anything nice at all.

That's what Cherry said.

Faya said,

Oh,

Me is going to find this very challenging.

Me doesn't like to be mean to anyone.

In fact,

Yes,

This is going to be very hard.

Heidi said,

Just follow my lead.

When we come into contact with any Squishymallows,

From now on,

We are detectives.

We're going to detect any strange behavior.

All of the cats,

The rainbow kittens and some other rainbow animals from Rainbowland all went outside where there was a huge gathering of Squishymallows.

When they got to the Squishymallows,

The Squishymallows instantly approached,

Gathered round and started to look very,

Very huggable and very,

Very cute.

Faya said,

Oh,

Me,

I'm going to say it.

I'm going to say it.

Cherry said,

Don't you dare.

Don't you dare say anything nice to these cute.

Oh,

No,

Did it.

One of the Squishymallows instantly hugged on Cherry.

It was a nice hug.

Oh,

It was nice.

It was so soft and cute and squishy that she closed her eyes and got instantly engulfed in one of the bestest hugs she'd ever had.

It was soft and furry and fluffy and so darn cute.

Cherry said,

OMG,

OMG,

You're so cute.

Another one instantly dived on her and gave her a big squishy,

Squishy,

Squishy hug.

So intense and soft and dreamy.

She closed her eyes even more.

All her face squished up.

She was so happy with the hug.

OMG,

You guys are just so.

.

.

Heidi interrupted,

Cherry,

Don't say it.

Don't say another word.

You're going to get completely engulfed with Squishymallow hugs.

Cherry said,

I can't help it.

I can't help it.

Oh,

No,

Heidi,

Heidi,

You want to feel the hugs.

They're like the nicest hugs in the entire world.

They feel so nice and soft and cute.

All you want to do is just hug them.

I can't help myself.

I thought I was going to be so good.

I thought I was going to have my barrier,

My energy barrier up.

And I can't,

I can't do it.

Oh,

No.

Oh,

No.

You guys are so dreamy and unbelievable.

Before she knew it,

She said another compliment.

Four other Squishymallows dived on top of her and hugged her to pieces.

She was surrounded and completely covered by Squishymallows.

She was in heaven.

They were the bestest,

Softest hugs ever.

Heidi and Veya were trying to attempt to pull the Squishymallows off her one by one.

It was very difficult,

But they finally did it.

Cherry pulled herself back together,

Stood up and said,

I'm sorry,

Guys.

I'm sorry.

This is going to be harder than I thought.

I get it.

I get it.

You just can't help yourself.

Veya said,

Me thinks you shouldn't try.

Me thinks maybe you should go the other way and say something that they won't like.

That was the idea,

Right?

We're not supposed to be making them grow.

We're supposed to be kind of pushing the buttons to maybe annoy them.

Maybe if we annoy them and aren't very nice to them,

Then they disappear.

Let's try that.

Heidi said,

I think I can do it.

You,

You.

She looked at one of the Squishymallows.

She was feeling love in her heart.

It was starting to get very intense,

Like she really wanted to hug it.

Its eyes got really big and sad looking and so cute and just lovable.

She took a big swallow.

You,

You,

You,

You,

You are just so round,

She said to the Squishymallow.

You,

You,

You are not soft at all.

The Squishymallow started to shrink in front of everybody's eyes.

It was getting smaller.

She carried on saying things.

You are,

You're,

You're quite hard.

It got even smaller and looked even sadder.

The smaller it got and the sadder it got.

Cherry was finding it very difficult.

It got cuter and cuter.

Cherry said,

I can't do it.

I can't do it.

I'm going to have to turn away.

I can't even look at them.

They're so darn cute.

They heard it.

Three of them dived on top of her and instantly started to give her the bestest,

Squishiest,

Softest,

Loving hugs that she'd had since the last ones.

Oh,

It's so nice.

You guys are so.

They put a paw in Cherry's mouth.

Me thinks you should really be quiet,

Cherry,

Because since we,

Since we've been here,

We've got like five new Squishymarrows,

Squishy,

Squishymallows.

Oh,

Be quiet.

I'm going to keep me paw in your mouth so that you be quiet.

Cherry said,

Good idea.

Trying to say good idea through Veya's paw.

She was trying to say compliments through Veya's paw,

But luckily,

None of them understood what she was saying.

Veya said,

Me,

Me feels very immune to this.

I thought I would be very,

Very challenged by all of their loving vibes and all of their cuteness,

But me's very immune to this.

Heidi said,

Good job.

Good job.

Well,

See if you can,

See if you can squish some of them.

I mean,

I don't mean squish them,

But you know,

Shrink them and maybe if they get smaller and smaller and smaller,

They'll just completely disappear.

Veya said,

No,

Me has another idea.

Me thinks if you ignore them,

That's it.

Just don't even look at them.

Me thinks if you don't say anything to them,

Don't look at them,

Don't interact with them,

Then they might disappear.

Cherry looked at Veya with very sad eyes.

Veya said,

Me knows,

Me knows.

I know it's very harsh,

But it might be what we need.

Heidi said,

Oh,

This is going to be difficult.

They're so cute.

One of them heard Heidi and jumped on her and gave her a big squishy,

Mallow hug.

Heidi said,

Oh,

No,

I understand.

It's so nice.

She closed her eyes and squeezed into the big,

Soft,

Chunky,

Cuddly,

Cuddliest thing that she'd ever,

Ever cuddled.

Veya said,

Me looks like I'm on my own.

OK,

I'm turning away.

She turned around.

When she turned around,

Cherry closed her eyes.

Heidi closed her eyes.

They did the best to try and ignore the squishy mallows.

All of a sudden,

You could hear pops.

Pop,

Pop,

Pop,

Pop,

Pop,

Pop,

Pop,

Pop,

Pop,

Pop,

Pop,

Pop,

Pop,

Pop,

Like Rice Krispies when you pour milk on them in the cereal bowl.

Pop,

Pop,

Pop,

Pop,

They were popping all over the place.

When Veya opened her eyes and turned around,

She realized that the popping sound was the squishy mallows disappearing.

They'd figured it out.

If you ignored them,

Completely ignored them,

Didn't give them any eye contact,

Didn't give them any warmth,

Any love,

Any tenderness,

Any compliments,

They disappeared.

Veya took out her paw so Cherry could speak.

Since there were no squishy mallows around,

Cherry said,

OMG,

This is like the saddest thing ever.

I really don't like it.

I really feel like somehow,

Someway,

Anyone would disappear,

Don't you think?

If we weren't getting any love or any eye contact or any attention,

We'd all just pop and disappear.

And you know,

You know,

I didn't really like pressing the buttons or when you were doing that,

Heidi,

I didn't like it when you were saying mean things just to be mean.

Heidi said,

I know I didn't like it either.

It was really difficult for me to say mean things.

I was trying very hard,

But it was very difficult.

Yeah,

Because you know,

Rainbowland is such a nice place.

It's so sweet and all the rainbow kittens get along and Santa Rainbow Kitty and Hulk Bear get along.

Everyone's just so happy.

And then when you go and do something mean like that and press someone's buttons on a purpose and say mean things to him,

It just don't feel right.

It didn't feel right to me at all.

And that's why when I really looked into their eyes,

I had to tell them they were so cute and they were so nice and I really liked them.

I almost loved them.

I could say I loved them because they give the nicest hugs.

They're like the bestest hugs I've ever had.

And oh,

They are.

I'm so proud of you.

But at the same time,

It was so difficult to just ignore them and not give them any love.

Maybe we could just take them back with us.

Or maybe,

Maybe we could like,

How about if we balance it?

How about if we tell Hulk Bear and the mom,

Santa Rainbow Kitty,

That you can sometimes love them,

But sometimes they need to just be like maybe ignored a little bit so that they don't multiply so much.

Maybe that would work.

And then the squishy mallows can live here in Rainbowland and be very loving and happy and get along with everybody else,

But not multiply every time they hug someone or multiply every time they get compliment or some love.

Maybe that's it.

Maybe if they just find some balance,

Like a little bit of both.

Like sometimes you have to ignore them,

Right?

Because you're busy or you're doing things.

It's not that you don't love them.

It's like when mom and dad don't like pay attention to us all the time.

You know,

When we're at home and we want them to pay attention to us and they're too busy because they're doing jobs around the house or they've got to work or they've got to do the dishes or they've got to do something where they're just not listening to us.

It's like that.

Maybe if we tell Hulk Bear and we tell Santa Rainbow Kitty to do that,

Then there'll be balance and then they won't multiply so much and take over Rainbowland.

By the way,

Once Cherry got to know him,

Their idea,

How to balance it,

Give them love and tenderness and kindness.

But sometimes you have to be busy.

And when you're busy and you don't pay attention to them,

A few of them will pop and disappear.

But that might keep the ratios just right so that the squishy mallows don't take over Rainbowland.

Everyone thought it was a very,

Very smart idea.

They tried it.

It worked.

And therefore,

Heidi,

Cherry and Vea were welcome back at Rainbowland any time they wished because they were so smart and they were very good friends.

When the cats got home,

Cherry talked for a long time in bed about her idea and how awesome she was for having that idea.

Then she told Vea how awesome she was for discovering that maybe not giving them so much attention would help them to kind of just disappear.

And she told Heidi how proud of the fact that she tried very hard to not be nice,

But it was difficult.

They all talked about the fact that pushing people's buttons on a purpose was not nice and they didn't really want to do that anymore.

And then they eventually all decided it was time to go to sleep.

It had been a very,

Very long day with good parts and bad parts,

Happy parts and sad parts.

And they needed to rest.

They did fall asleep with lots of love in their hearts,

Hoping that they'd go back to Rainbowland soon.

And one by one,

They fell fast asleep.

Story time after Mr. Kitty 12

Hidei Cherry and vaya were at home watching a movie but they herd a nock on the door "You get it vaya I love Teenage Kraken." Vaya opened the door and it was..... "Mr.kitty!!! What are you doing here we thought that you left?". Mr.kitty didn't want to say all about his love for her out loud in front of her sisters. "Uh... Vaya I uh... um... let's go out here for a sec." so Vaya and Mr. Kitty stepped outside the door. Mr. Kitty shut the door behind them. "I ... uh... um.... l,l,l... loooo... loveeee ... um... ....uh ...um uhy...you Vaya. I wish I could have told you earlier but I was.. a little bit shy.". Vaya didn't know what to say next. "I um a.. kind ... of ..like ... you ...too." said Vaya so proud of herself for saying that.
