My name is Corrie.
Please get into a comfortable meditation position.
Make sure that your back is nice and straight if you're sat up.
Go through the checklist of relaxing certain points of your body.
Relax your shoulders down away from your ears.
Soften your tummy.
Take a few breaths into your stomach so that you can relax it completely.
Relax your face.
The space around your eyes.
Let your eyebrows get heavy.
Soften your cheeks and your jaw.
Slow down your breath.
Find a pace that feels nice for you.
Don't go too slow because I think if you go too deep and too slow,
Sometimes that feels a little bit strained and it doesn't feel comfortable.
Just find a pace that's comfortable,
A depth that's comfortable.
And then when you find it,
See if you can flow in a circle.
Circular ins and outs,
Like the waves on the ocean.
Take your breaths into your heart space.
Your heart space is right there in the center of your chest.
This is where your heart chakra lies,
The energy of your heart chakra.
Your heart chakra is a thought attractor.
So basically,
This is where all the thoughts about love and all the different aspects of how that comes in human form resides right there in the center of your chest.
And along with love,
There's always opposites,
The dualities,
Pain,
Sorrow,
Grief,
Along with love,
Joy,
Happiness,
Excitement.
The special place right there in the center of your chest,
Next to your physical heart,
Start to take your breaths down into your heart center.
And as you slowly,
Mindfully breathe into your heart space,
And breathe out of your heart space.
Take some time to just get a feel for this place in your body.
Physically,
What does it feel like physically today?
It might feel light,
Open,
It might feel quite heavy,
Or tight.
Just observe,
Don't try and change.
As you slowly breathe in and breathe out,
Sitting very still and quiet.
And deeper,
As if you're sat right there in the middle of that heart space.
Feeling everything around you,
Feeling the essence of the space,
The emotional state.
Imagine that you're right in there.
Take your time,
But see if you can feel your emotional state.
Maybe you're aware of some anxiety,
Maybe you're aware of a feeling of gratitude,
A feeling of euphoria today.
Like I said,
It's a little bit more tricky,
But see if you can go inside deeper,
Visualize yourself sat in there,
Crisscross applesauce,
Like a little Buddha inside of your heart space,
And feel.
You might get little visuals,
I just saw myself being wrapped in a blanket,
Like a warm feeling.
But then my mind instantly went to the duality of that,
And I felt myself sat alone,
More cold,
More empty kind of feeling.
So if anything like that is happening in your mind,
In your meditation mind,
Just allow it to flash through and be present.
But don't make any attachments,
Just let it settle wherever it wants to settle.
Now think about this room being decked out in your life,
Bookshelves,
Cupboards,
Cabinets,
Everything now around you as if you're sat in a room full of all the different things that could be representing things in your life that are a little bit cluttered,
Things in your life that you could possibly do with letting go of.
See yourself in your mind with a trash can in one hand,
Or a big trash bag,
And you're going to start to do some sorting out.
I'm going to help you out by itemizing different bookshelves or different cupboards in this room to represent different things in your life.
So find a cupboard or a cabinet or a bookshelf that represents family,
Relationships,
People,
Friends.
All of those things in your life that are connected to relationship.
Designate in your mind,
One of the areas as that,
In for that.
And then another area in the room,
Maybe this is bigger,
Maybe this is smaller.
This is all about your career,
Your finances,
Your goals.
Look around the room and find a cupboard set to drawers or a cabinet,
Anything,
A bookshelf that represents this.
So we have family,
Relationships,
And we have career.
And then finally,
Find an area in the room that represents you.
All of your thoughts,
Your feelings,
Old beliefs,
New beliefs,
Your health,
Your spiritual state,
Your mental state,
Anything in this area holds the things that you'd like to let go of.
So you have these three dominant places in this room and your heart space.
Three opportunities to do some clearing out today.
I'm going to let you take the reins in your mind and go where you need to go.
Physically,
Visually,
See yourself pulling things out of these areas,
Representing metaphorically certain things in your mind and then throwing them with intention in the trash can or the trash bag,
Letting them go.
If it's not a hell yes,
And it doesn't need to be in your life,
Let's get rid of it.
What do you need to let go of?
What thoughts?
What feelings?
What objects?
What people?
Behaviors?
What do you need to stop?
What do you need to let go?
If you need another trash bag,
Just make sure that you have an ample supply of trash bags right there.
And if you're struggling with finding things to let go of,
Think about,
For example,
If you're on the section about yourself,
Think about the thoughts that you have that make you unhappy.
The feelings that you have,
All the beliefs that you have that bring you down,
Make you sad.
Can we let go of those type of thoughts?
Maybe you have limiting beliefs about your abilities.
Maybe you love your job,
Maybe you hate your job.
Maybe it's time for a change.
What do you need to do?
What thoughts or feelings or people or objects stop you?
Throw them in the trash bag,
As if you're removing these obstacles.
Maybe you need to have a special goodbye about a person,
A chapter,
Or an animal.
If that's the case,
Maybe we could put together a bunch of memories,
Thoughts,
Feelings,
Books or objects that represent that.
And then just with a smile or gratitude in your heart,
Put those things in another bag.
Carefully,
But the object is being put away.
It's time for it to be put away.
Closing that chapter.
Everything that you let go of,
If you can find a place in your heart to be in kindness or gratitude or appreciation versus anger,
Frustration,
Overwhelm.
See if you can switch the energy of how you say goodbye to things.
What does that feel like for you?
Two more minutes.
If you feel like you're done,
Maybe just sit and appreciate your space being less cluttered.
Stop and just take a look around at the space that you've created in your heart space.
Space for change to come.
Whatever you're doing,
Just leave it and go sit back down in crisscross applesauce if you're not already there in the center of your heart space.
And imagine in your mind that everything around you is just disappearing.
The visualization is melting away,
Fading away,
The color goes out of it,
That form goes out of it.
And you're back in the center of your simple heart space.
Take a few breaths here.
Feel the calm.
Feel the lightness in the space that you've created.
Feel your shoulders nice and relaxed,
Your face nice and calm,
Softened,
Relaxed.
Energetically,
You've done a lot of work during this meditation.
Just let it be.
As I like to say,
And so it is.
And with that,
You can very gently open your eyes and come back into your life,
Your space,
This real world that you're sat in,
Listening with me,
Meditating right now.
Whittle your fingers,
Whittle your toes,
Feel your physical body,
Come back into the heaviness of your body,
Your physical self.
Ready for your day.
Namaste,
My friends.
