Are you ready to meditate with Kori?

Hop into bed and get super super comfortable.

Make sure that you're wearing your comfortable pajamas and everything is just right in your room so that you can relax your tired little body and let go of your busy day.

On a farm far away in the midwest there was a bunch of different tomato plants.

There were hundreds of tomatoes,

Hundreds of them.

It had been the perfect summer.

All summer long the farmer watered his tomato plants every single day.

One watering can at a time.

He didn't use a hosepipe because there wasn't a tap where he could apply a hosepipe to it out there in his garden.

Where he decided that there was the most sun he needed to unfortunately water them by hand.

So every day with his one big watering can he would walk over to the farm on the side of the house where the tap was,

Fill up his watering can and walk across the farm and water a couple of his tomato plants.

He had 30 tomato plants in total and all of the plants were thriving and doing so well.

There was hundreds of tomatoes.

Some were green,

Some were orange,

Some were turning like a yellowy colour.

Some were very very reddy and the most prettiest brilliant bright red.

The farmer at the beginning of the summer decided he wanted lots of varieties with his tomatoes,

Not just one kind.

He wanted some heirloom tomatoes,

He wanted cherry tomatoes.

He wanted Roma tomatoes.

He decided to plant some purple tomatoes and when they grew they turned like a purpley black colour.

He had so many different types and each one of the tomatoes tasted different.

Some were slightly more salty,

Some were super super sweet.

Some of them grew quite big and mushy inside and some of them were so tiny they were tinier than your pinky nail.

But they were ready,

That's just the size that they were and they were bright red shining in the sun.

It took him ages to pick those ones because they were so tiny and his thumb and his finger were too big most of the time and he didn't want to squish them.

He had to be careful.

It's quite fair to say that the farmer was very happy with all of his tomatoes.

But were the tomatoes happy with each other?

There was one tomato plant that had really big tomatoes on it.

They were ginormous.

It was like an heirloom plant but it wasn't heirloom.

They were just like big beefy tomatoes.

Enormous.

They were the loudest tomatoes of all the different types.

Unfortunately the beefy tomatoes were bullies.

They were loud,

They were mean and they didn't act very nice towards the other plants.

We're the biggest and we're the best.

Don't mess with us otherwise we'll biff ya.

The tomatoes would say.

The tomato plant with the tiny,

Tiny,

Tiny pinky sized tomatoes on it unfortunately was planted next to the beefy tomatoes.

One of the tomatoes that was super,

Super tiny said to another tomato that was super,

Super tiny.

What does biff you mean?

And the other tiny tomato said.

I think it means squishes.

It's squishes.

The tiny pinky sized tomatoes were absolutely terrified.

Oh no!

They all would say to each other.

Stay away from those horrible big beefy tomatoes.

No one liked the big beefy tomatoes.

There was four different plants that were Roma tomatoes and they were kind of medium sized.

They didn't even like the big beefy tomatoes.

What hope had the tiny pinky sized tomatoes,

The tiny,

Tiny,

Tiny cherry tomatoes got against the big beefies?

There was a plant that was a medium sized cherry tomato.

They were like about as big as your thumbnail.

An average cherry tomato size.

Not the miniature tiny ones.

One of them on there was fed up with the bullies,

The big beefy tomatoes.

I'm not taking it anymore.

They're mean.

They're vicious to everyone every day.

Why do they think they can get away with that?

I'm telling you now.

I think it's awful.

I think we should tell the farmer that he needs to move us away from that big beefy plant because that big beefy plant has just got a horrible,

Horrible,

Horrible vibe.

They're so mean.

Who wants to be around anyone that's mean?

Night and day the one tomato on the cherry plant would go on and on and on.

By the end of the day she'd get all the other tomatoes wound up.

We need justice.

We need justice.

We need justice.

She was just one of those tomatoes that would not keep her mouth shut,

Especially against any kind of injustice.

She announced one day that if all of them come together as a group,

The mini tomatoes,

The Roma tomatoes,

The cherry tomatoes,

The tiny pinky tomatoes,

All of them,

If they all come together as a group,

They would definitely outsize the bully beefy tomatoes,

Right?

But she couldn't get everybody's backup.

She couldn't get everyone to support her.

They understood.

They agreed.

But to be honest with you,

They were scared of the beefy tomatoes.

They were scared of those bullies and they didn't want to get involved.

Over the course of summer,

Lots of the tomatoes got picked and collected in a basket by the farmer.

They would frequently just disappear,

One by one,

Group by group,

Plant by plant.

Where it got to the end of the summer and the big beefy plant was still there.

Along with the cherry tomatoes,

Some of them,

Along with the one that was totally unjustified by the big beefy bullies.

She was still there.

One day she saw something that made her look at the big beefy tomatoes,

The big bully tomatoes very differently.

The farmer never picked them.

He ignored them.

He would go by that plant and pick all the other tomatoes,

Giving all the other tomatoes attention,

So to speak.

And the big beefy bullies never got any from the farmer.

Yes,

He watered them with his watering can every day,

Just like all the other plants.

But why didn't he pick them?

It was very odd.

Until one day the cherry tomatoes said to one of the big beefy tomatoes,

Hey,

How come the farmer never picks you guys?

The big beefy bully tomato turned around to the cherry tomato and started crying.

Literally,

Bursted out crying,

Bawling its eyes out.

Yes it was on the plant with the big beefy tomatoes,

But it wasn't really a bully,

It was a softy.

I'm too soft,

Said the tomato.

He doesn't like me,

I'm pappy and soft and bitty.

That's like all of us,

Even though we're really big and we look good.

He picked one of us one time and he never picked us again.

I don't think he likes us.

The big beefy tomato started crying even more.

The cherry tomato felt so sorry for him.

Oh,

I'm so sorry.

We're so sweet and crispy and juicy.

Said the big beefy bully tomato that wasn't a bully,

But was still big and beefy.

Okay,

Okay,

You don't have to make me feel worse.

The cherry tomato felt terrible.

She did want to get revenge.

She wanted to get her own back for all the other bullies on that plant that are mean every day to all the other tomatoes.

But now she felt sad.

She'd never seen it like that before.

Those poor tomatoes never got any attention.

They never got picked.

They never got eaten.

Yes,

They got the basics.

They got watered.

But that was it.

They weren't nourished or fed with love and attention at all.

She was full of love and attention.

There were so many cherry tomatoes that were growing and being picked and growing and being picked.

The farmer loved the cherry tomatoes so much.

In fact,

They were his favorites.

He would talk to them all the time.

Because he talked to them and he watered them and he loved them.

They grew more and more and more,

Multiplying by the hundreds.

But the poor beefy tomatoes that he didn't really like very much,

He never really paid attention to.

Then,

One day,

One of the tomatoes that was the worst,

The worst bully beefy tomato,

Started ranting and raving as the farmer walked by.

And the farmer never heard a word.

He didn't pay attention at all.

And then the cherry tomato got it.

These big beefy bullies are only bullies and loud and mean because they're trying to get attention.

And the farmer never,

Ever pays them attention.

Poor bullies,

Thought the cherry tomato.

The one that was two weeks ago,

Trying to start a riot,

Trying to start some kind of parade where they all walked against the injustice of the big beefy tomatoes,

Those horrible,

Horrible things.

Now she felt sorry for them.

Now she understood bullies are probably trying to just get some kind of attention.

Any kind of attention.

They're practically starved of attention and that's what they're trying to do,

She thought.

She decided to announce to all of the different plants,

The romers,

The tiny,

Tiny mini tomatoes that were as big as your pinky,

All the other cherry tomatoes,

The heirloom tomatoes,

The blackish purple tomatoes,

All of them,

All of them.

She told them all what she'd discovered.

And everyone decided that they were going to make friends with the big beefy bully tomatoes,

Even though they were mean.

Well not all of them,

Because some of them were just pappy and soggy and sad.

But most of them were mean.

They talked to them every day.

They made them talk to them every day.

All the other tomatoes were nice to those big beefy bullies every day.

And sure enough,

They started to warm up.

The bullies stopped being so aggressive.

Some days the bullies were actually nice to the other tomatoes.

It took a while.

They had to do it every day consistently,

Because the bullies at first thought they were tricking them.

They'd never had that much attention to why all of a sudden are all the other tomatoes on the farm being nice to them.

They thought it was a trick.

Literally.

They didn't trust anyone.

But over time the big beefy bully tomatoes got nicer and nicer and nicer.

And what was really,

Really strange was the farmer started to pick them.

He discovered they were wonderful to make a pasta sauce with.

They were absolutely perfect.

Now isn't that strange?

Bully’s are only bully’s because they have had trorma in their life, or they are trying to get attention.

And, because they were nice 👍🏻 the farmer 👩🏼‍🌾 notice them so if you are good the good comes back to you.
