The first step to changing your life always starts with a single bold choice,
Deciding you can.
The second step to changing your life is repeating the first.
So let's begin here,
By closing down your eyes.
As you take an intentional moment to soak in the stillness.
Feel your body shift and center.
As you pause and notice what the natural rhythm of your breath feels like.
Is it quick and shallow,
Or slow and intentional?
Take a deeper breath in,
Fully filling the lungs.
And release as the body and mind connect.
Letting any thoughts or emotions pass through you,
With every breath out.
Your breath is slow and steady.
So I welcome you to use it,
To anchor you here,
To this present moment.
You are here.
You are only here.
And on your next incoming breath,
I invite you to bring into focus,
Something you have been working toward,
Something that was once just a thought,
Or an idea,
That you found yourself saying yes to.
And as you see this ambition and dream in your mind,
I want you to feel into your body and notice how it physically reacts.
Feeling if your heart rate has picked up.
Has your breath quickened?
Feeling into the belly.
Are there any butterflies?
Or even a bit of nerves or anxiety?
It's said that you will never hear another person's voice more than you hear your own.
So I invite you to be intentional with yours.
As you repeat after me.
I will not give up.
I can do this.
Unwavering determination is filled with possibilities.
Each and every time you say,
I will do this,
And you recommit,
It breathes life into your aspirations.
You can't see it,
But you can feel it.
You can sense it coming your way.
Somewhere deep within,
Something is happening and you can't quite see it.
But there is energy all around you,
And it works in your favor.
Small synchronicities,
Aligning in perfect timing.
In ways you can't even imagine.
As long as you are breathing,
There is still time.
Your vision of the future is beginning to intertwine with the present.
Because of how far you have come.
For each and every time you kept going.
When it wasn't easy.
When you had no idea what you were doing.
Every time a doubt and obstacle appeared along the way.
Each and every time you speak to yourself with intentional words.
So I ask you here to repeat it again after me.
I will not give up.
I can do this.
Take a deep breath in as we shift here together into gratitude for this moment.
To feel gratitude for the ability to connect with a heart as deserving as yours.
For the strength you have been building along the way.
And for just how far you have already come.
Take a final deep belly breath in.
And exhale as you feel yourself able to let it all go.
As this practice comes to a close,
I invite you to bring your attention back to your body.
Gently welcoming any stretches or movement that feel right.
As you find your way back to another time,
Wiggling the fingers and toes.
And when you feel ready,
Gently open your eyes.
There is still time for you to be all that you want to be.
