Close down your eyes and settle right in.

Tonight's sleepy story is about to begin.

With a deep breath in and a deep breath out,

Stretch out your body and let any wiggles come out.

Now close down your eyes and take another breath in as we start to use your imagination.

Sometimes I like to curl up in a ball so no one can see me because I'm so small.

Can you curl up into a tiny little ball?

Sometimes I like to stretch out like a big butterfly,

Spreading out my wings like I'm flying through the sky.

Can you stretch out like a great big butterfly?

Sometimes I like to get as quiet as a mouse to hear any sounds living in my house.

Can you get as quiet as a mouse?

Sometimes I like to lie as still as a tree and watch everyone rush around me.

Can you lie as still as a tree?

Sometimes I like to poke out my tongue or make funny faces at my dad or my mom.

Can you make a silly face?

Sometimes I like to take a deep breath in and breathe out as I feel the air on my chin.

Can you feel the outbreath on your chin?

When another day ends and the sun starts to fall,

Then I do what I love to do most of all.

I find somewhere soft where I can be cozy and small and then I curl back up into a ball.

Can you curl up into a tiny little ball?

Our story is done and it's time to let your body renew.

But first,

Let's whisper together a soft,

I love you.
