When you set yourself free to simply be,

You set the whole world free.

Welcome to Coached by Nikkie Dyer.

Sit in a quiet place and gently close your eyes.

And once you feel centered,

Take your first deep inhale in,

Feeling the way the lower belly expands with air as you pause for just a moment.

And exhale as you welcome a softening.

Inhale as the air opens and expands through you.

And exhale as you release and let it all go.

Inhale,

Inviting gratitude into your body in the form of breath.

And exhale.

Our practice today is simple.

It's a message I received loud and clear and was asked to share with you.

And if you are hearing it now,

This one's for you.

You are allowed to change direction.

You are allowed to unattach your identity from something or someone.

You are allowed to break the rules.

To break your own rules.

The act has chains keeping you anchored to your past.

In honor of me committing to let go of something this week.

Something that in many ways has meant everything to me.

And kept me very safe.

I would like for you to take a quiet moment with me.

To say out loud something that you are ready to let go of.

That has been keeping you anchored to someone you no longer are.

Only one word.

My own word is fear.

So what are you ready to let go of?

Take a deep breath in and exhale.

Expectations.

And to be clear,

I'm not talking about having dreams or wanting something to happen.

Because that is so important.

I'm talking about assuming things will go the way we think they should.

For whatever reason.

Because you never know what tomorrow is going to bring you.

And maybe,

Maybe it's greater than what you expected.

When you set yourself free to simply be,

You set the whole world free.

So take a final deep breath in with me.

And as you exhale,

I want you to imagine yourself letting go of your word.

Really feeling it release all the way from your body.

And when you open your eyes,

I want you to leave it here.

With me.

Thank you Nikki. My word was the same, 'fear'. I'm glad I'm not alone in that.

Letting go of fear is the best way for me to live a more fulfilling life. I have realized that before, but this wonderful meditation reminded me of this once more in a surprising way, when that was the same word you said back to me. Words can do magic when we let them. Thank you for this! ❤️

Really good. I like the idea of detaching/letting go of something related to your identity and I also like that it’s okay to go in different directions.

Nikki, I couldn’t ask for a more beautiful meditation to start my day! I also chose FEAR. Fear that I face every day because my dad is no longer here… He just celebrated his first birthday in heaven this weekend, and tomorrow he will be gone from this earth eight months. And every day I fear or have feared that I am not doing him proud or that he has never been proud of me. I have felt like I have fallen short, and that has created fear. So today I let go of that, and I leave it here. With tears streaming down my face at the moment, thank you and maybe I can see the glimmer that my dad is watching over me and nodding his head, yes! Namaste’
