Sometimes you just have to go for it.

Not thinking about what comes after or what came before.

You just have to bend your knees,

Take a deep breath,

And jump.

Welcome to Coached by Nikki Dyer.

So we begin here,

By closing down your eyes and starting things off with a deep breath in.

And release as the mind and body connect.

Here inside this practice we call meditation,

We turn our focus to the gentle rhythm of the body breathing.

So let's do just that,

As you allow your breath to find a natural rhythm of its own.

Letting any thoughts just pass through you.

Keeping your mind more connected and open with each breath cycle.

We all have fear,

Sometimes paralyzing fear.

Not knowing which direction to go or where to turn,

So we just stand still.

The simplest way I can phrase it is there are no wrong turns.

Every time you make a decision and take a step toward it,

A new pathway can appear in front of you.

One with new viewpoints and new adventures to experience along the way.

The hills and valleys of your soul and your life will be on any pathway you take.

In any relationship or in any location.

They are predetermined.

These are your dharma and they will stay with you always.

But the decision of which path you learn on as you go is yours.

We reground together here as you recenter your focus back to your breath.

The air is weightless and yet it holds you here.

So can you allow yourself to relax a little deeper still?

I invite you here to bring something up that often gets pushed down.

Here we bring forward your fear.

Maybe it's helpful to think of a situation that you link to your fear in your mind.

And whatever just came forward for you,

I welcome you to let it rise and to be seen.

To feel it.

To find wherever it is that it sits within.

Maybe your belly,

Chest or throat.

And don't push it away when it comes forward.

Just really hold it in this space.

No one talks about the fear you have of things actually going right.

But for anyone who has experienced disappointment or hardships.

It feels scary to embrace the element of excitement.

The idea of something going right.

Without the fear of all the ways it could go wrong.

None of this is real.

Your fears aren't a premonition.

And they are not your intuition.

None of this is real.

Your luck is not going to run out.

It can't.

Because you're not getting lucky.

You are becoming aligned with who you are meant to be.

We complete this practice today with a few mantras I use and love.

So take a deep breath in here.

And exhale.

As you simply listen or repeat after me.

Everything will absolutely work out for me.

Clarity and answers always come when I relax and trust.

This fear will not keep me from my greatness.

I can be afraid and do it anyway.

Sometimes you just have to go for it.

Not thinking about what comes after or what came before.

You just have to bend your knees.

Take a deep breath.

And jump.

I welcome your mind back into your body.

As you reshift your focus back to this present moment.

Take a final deep breath in here.

And exhale.

And when you feel ready,

Open your eyes.

Do it scared.

Do it anyway.

I love this one Nikki! Fear and anxiety control my life lately. While I think of what might be when it comes to some physical ailments… They’re out of my control. For a while, I’ve been safe in my Cocoon. It’s time to come out of that cocoon and acknowledge the fear, set it aside, and let fate and fearless me take over these next few weeks as I navigate the waters! Blessings to you

I've been wondering why I've felt so stagnant on my journey. This meditation touched on something I haven't even allowed myself to consider....the fear of things going right.
