Notice the cool air as you inhale through your nose,
And notice how the air is warmer as you exhale.
Feel that gentle rise and fall of your chest or belly with each breath.
You have nowhere to be,

If thoughts arise,
That's okay.
Don't judge yourself for not having a quiet mind.
You're human.
Acknowledge them,
And gently guide your focus back to your breathing.
Let your breath be an anchor to the present moment.
Now bringing your attention to your body,
Starting at the top of your head,
Slowly scan down,
Releasing any tension you might be holding.
Feel your forehead soften,
Your jaw unclench.
Let your shoulders drop.
Feel the relaxation spread down through your arms,
Your hands,
And fingers.
As you move your awareness down your torso,
Allow your chest and stomach to soften.
Release any tightness in your hips,
Your legs,
And your feet.
With each breath out,
Release a little more tension.
You are grounding yourself,
Letting go of the physical stress,
And creating space for calm.
Now that your body is relaxed,
Let's turn our focus to your thoughts,
And imagine your mind is like a clear blue sky.
Sometimes clouds with your thoughts will pass by,
But no matter how many clouds appear,
The sky remains open and vast,
A beautiful blue.
Your thoughts are simply passing visitors,
And they certainly don't define you.
As you breathe,
Imagine the clouds of stress,
Of doubt,
Of negativity begin to drift away,
Carried off by a gentle breeze.
As each cloud passes,
Notice the growing blue sky,
And the blue holds clarity and calm in your mind.
And in this blue,
Clear space,
You can begin to invite new,
Positive,
And empowering thoughts.
With this beautiful and clear mental space,
Let's plant the seeds of new,
Positive intentions.
As you breathe in,
Mentally repeat,

As you breathe out,
Say,
I release what no longer serves me.

Continue to repeat those words,
Inhaling,

Exhaling,

If any negative or limiting beliefs arise,
Don't resist them.
Simply observe and say to yourself,

Silently repeat the following affirmations.

Feel these words sinking into your being,
