Good morning,
And welcome to this energizing meditation to get you set up for your day.
So make yourself a little bit more comfortable in your position,
Close over your eyes again just after waking up and take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs completely and exhaling slowly through your mouth,
Letting go of any tension that's built up over the night.
And now taking another breath in deeply to the count of four,
Three,
Four,
And holding your breath again for a count of four,
And exhaling two,
Three,
Four and holding.
Two,
Three,
Four,
And inhaling,
Continue to breathe in this pattern to the count of four,
In,
Hold.
Exhale,
Hold,
And now breathing more naturally,
But a little more consciously,
And a little more deeply than usual.
Now imagine a beautiful golden warm light above your head in the shape of a sun,
It's there,
Keeping you warm and energized right throughout your day.
Now notice the heat of that sun and the beautiful golden light as it starts to come into your body,
Down through your head,
Your neck,
Over your shoulders,
Down into your torso,
Your arms and hands,
Down into your hips and legs and feet.
And start to notice that as this light comes into your body,
It begins to fill you up from your feet.
With each inhale,
Visualize this light filling you with energy and vitality from your toes right up to your ankles.
Inhaling,
Beautiful golden light filling you up,
Coming up your legs,
Filling up your lower legs,
Up to your knees,
And with every exhale,
Release any fatigue or negativity.
Inhaling,
See that light rise up through your legs,
Up to your hips,
And start to repeat the affirmation,
I am energized and ready for my day.
Watch as the light fills up your hips,
Your stomach,
Your whole torso.
I am energized and ready for my day.
As the light fills up,
Coming up into your heart space,
Your shoulders,
Your neck,
Some of the light goes down into your arms and hands.
I am energized and ready for my day.
See the light fill up your neck,
Your head,
Your face.
I am energized and ready for my day.
Continue to breathe deeply,
Feeling the energy of that beautiful golden light.
And slowly bring your awareness back into this present moment.
Notice your fingers and your toes.
You can open your eyes,
Feeling that energy.
And one more time,
Repeat,
I am energized and ready for my day.
